Queensway Garage The Queensway garage opened on January 23, 1966 and is located on the north side of Evans Ave. west of Kipling Ave. The facility has a 10-hoist repair bay, 4 inspection pits, 1 wash rack and 1 diesel fuelling station. It has indoor storage facilities as well as staging areas all around the garage. Through constant assignment of Flyer buses to the garage it has developed expertise in maintaining and operating Flyer products. Queensway houses 51 Flyer D40LF and 110 Orion VIIs. Queensway serves routes 15, 26, 30, 44, 45, 48, 49, 50, 66, 73, 76, 80, 110, 111, 112, 123, 145, 192 and 300 (split with Birchmount, Eglinton and Mount Dennis). Here is a plan of the property. |
