Carlton
Weekend
bus replacement for City construction
-
The
City of Toronto is replacing a sewer on College Street, between Yonge
Street and University Avenue. As a result, streetcars on the 506/306
Carlton routes will be replaced with buses on Saturdays and Sundays,
from January 6 to February 16, 2002. Because buses cannot operate on
the tracks at High Park Loop, buses on the 506 Carlton route will
operate via Parkside Drive to and from Keele Station. There will be no
change to the routing on the 306 Carlton overnight service, which
operates to Dundas West Station. Additional time will be added to the
schedules to reduce delays to buses when travelling through the
construction areas.
Routing
details
506
Carlton eastbound: From Keele Station, south on Parkside Drive,
east on Howard Park Avenue, over the regular route to Main Street Station.
506
Carlton westbound: Over the regular routing from Main Street
Station, west on Howard Park Avenue, north on Parkside Drive to Keele
Station.
At
stops with passenger islands, buses will serve the islands; at all other
