Subway Closure

Sunday Morning Subway Closures - Extended to February 16, 2003 (Subject to change). Subway service replaced by buses between Finch & York Mills stations every Sunday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.. Yonge Subway Shuttle buses will run between Finch Station and York MiIls Station stopping at North York Station and Sheppard Station only. All trains on the Yonge-University-Spadina Subway will turn back south at York Mills Station before 12 p.m. on Sundays. 97 YONGE buses will provide additional local service on Yonge Street.
TTC Commuter Parking - Changes to hours of free parking now in effect
Cash Customers: New Hours of Paid Parking - 5am Monday to 2am Saturday. No more free parking after 3pm. Free parking only on weekends and holidays.
Metropass Customers: Free parking anytime at Metropass lots.
All Customers: No overnight parking between 2am to 5am daily. Parking subject to availability and change.

Bus bay changes

The loading locations for several bus routes at Scarborough Centre Station will change, to better group together routes which serve common or nearby destinations.

Service reliability improvement

Service reliability will be improved by adding additional time to the schedules at Dundas West Station, at all times of the week, to help recover from any delays along the route. There will be minor changes to service levels and departure times.

KIPLING SOUTH
Service increase

Service will be increased during the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. The service will change from every 7 minutes to every 6 minutes.

MARTIN GROVE
Service reduction

Service will be reduced during the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, so that the resources can be used to reduce crowding on other routes. The service will change from every 9 minutes to every 10 minutes.
Trip time change

Three trips which depart from Martin Grove C.I. in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday will be changed to depart approximately 15 minutes earlier because the dismissal time of the school has been changed. Two trips starting northbound from the school to Steeles Avenue will be changed to depart at approximately 3:10 p.m. & 3:15 p.m. The trip starting southbound from the school to Kipling Station will be changed to depart at approximately 3:15 p.m.

A trip currently departing from Scarlett Heights C.I. at 3:25 p.m., Monday to Friday, will be changed to depart 10 minutes earlier at 3:15 p.m. to better match the new dismissal time of the school.

Service increase

Service from St. Basil-the-Great College School in the afternoon from Monday to Friday will be revised, to better match school dismissal times. The time of one trip will be changed, and an additional trip will be added.

Some Sunday early morning and afternoon trips north of Eglinton Avenue on the 112C (Kipling Stn-Disco Rd) branch will be removed, because of low ridership.

Two Monday-Friday early morning 320 YONGE night bus trips will be eliminated, as these bus trips now duplicate the earlier morning starting time of the YONGE-UNIVERSITY-SPADINA subway.

The 5:33 a.m. southbound departure from Steeles Avenue to Queens Quay (arriving at 6:15 a.m.) will be discontinued. The 5:53 a.m. southbound departure from York Mills Road to Queens Quay (arriving at 6:25 a.m.) will be discontinued.

YORK UNIVERSITY ROCKET
Service reduction

Service will be reduced early in the morning, before 7:30 a.m., from Monday to Friday, when ridership is low. Service will be changed from every 3 minutes to every 6 minutes before 7:00 a.m., and will be changed from every 3 minutes to every 4 minutes between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m.
Service increase

Southbound service from York University to Downsview Station will be increased in the evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. Five additional southbound trips will be added between approximately 7:00 and 8:20 p.m.
