7 Bathurst
  • Transit signal priority equipment has been installed at 38 intersections along the route, and the round-trip travel time will be reduced by between eight and ten minutes, because of the reduction in signal delays. There will be minor changes to service levels.

11 Bayview

  • A school trip currently departing northbound from Davisville Station at 7:40 a.m. to serve St. Joseph Morrow Park Secondary School will be changed to depart at approximately 7:30 a.m., to better serve the new start time of the school at 8:30 a.m.

9 Bellamy

  • The 9 Bellamy and 134 Progress routes will be changed to improve service for customers travelling to or from the area east of McCowan Road and north of Progress Avenue. Eastbound buses on the 9 Bellamy route will no longer operate on Bushby Drive, Grangeway Avenue, or on the section of Consilium Place south of Corporate Drive.

Southbound - From Scarborough Centre Station, east on Triton Road, north on McCowan Road, east and south on Consilium Place, east on Corporate Drive, south on Bellamy Road, and   continuing over the present route to Warden Station.

Northbound - From Warden Station, over the present route, then north on Bellamy Road, west on Corporate Drive, south on Consilium Place and Grangeway Avenue, west on Bushby Drive, north on McCowan Road, and west on Triton Road to Scarborough Centre Station.

  • New service will be operated during the early evening on Saturdays. Service will operate every 60 minutes, until approximately 10:00 p.m.

  • The departure times of two trips which operate from Silverthorn Collegiate at the beginning of the afternoon peak period will be changed, to better meet the 3:10 p.m. school dismissal time. The trip on the 49 Bloor West route to Kipling Station which now leaves at 3:08 p.m. will be changed to leave at 3:20 p.m. The trip on the 50 Burnhamthorpe route to Islington Station which now leaves at 3:15 p.m. will be changed to leave at 3:20 p.m.

120 Calvington

  • New service will be operated during the morning on Saturdays. The bus will run every 60 minutes, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 noon.

87 Cosburn

  • New service on Haldon Avenue to the East York Acres housing area will be operated during the early evening from Monday to Saturday, in addition to the present daytime service seven days a week. The first trips in the evening to serve East York Acres from Monday to Friday will be at approximately 6:30 p.m., and the last trips will be at approximately 9:15 p.m. from Monday to Friday and at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Saturdays.

108 Downsview

  • New service will be operated during the late evenings on Saturdays. Buses will run every 22 minutes, until approximately 12:45 a.m.

  • New service will be operated during the daytime on Sundays and holidays. The bus will run every 60 minutes, from approximately 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. This service is operated under contract to Vaughan Transit.

32 Eglinton West

  • A new eastbound trip to Eglinton Station will depart from Skymark at approximately 5:36 a.m., Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding.

  • Two new westbound trips to Renforth will depart from Eglinton Station at approximately 6:52 and 7:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding.

15 Evans

  • Because of changes to school schedules, the 2:28 p.m. trip from Evans Avenue to Royal York Station is no longer required, and will be removed.

36 Finch West

  • Westbound service from Finch Station will be increased during the end of the morning peak period and at the beginning of the late evening from Monday to Friday, and at the end of the daytime on Saturdays, to reduce overcrowding. Five additional westbound trips will be added from approximately 8:54 a.m. to 9:23 a.m., Monday to Friday. One additional westbound trip will be added at approximately 9:53 p.m., Monday to Friday. Four additional westbound trips will be added from approximately 6:52 p.m. to 7:42 p.m., on Saturdays. All of the new trips will operate on the 36D (Finch Stn-Jane) branch.

  • Two school trips currently departing westbound from Jane Street and Finch Avenue at 2:14 p.m. and 2:54 p.m. to serve Regina Pacis Secondary School will be changed so that both buses depart at approximately 2:35 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 2:25 p.m.

  • A school trip currently departing Martin Grove Road and Finch Avenue eastbound at 3:30 p.m. to serve Marian Academy will be changed to depart at approximately 3:02 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of school at 2:52 p.m.

  • A school trip currently departing Keele Street and Finch Avenue westbound at 2:21 p.m. to serve James Cardinal McGuigan Secondary School will be changed to depart at approximately 2:53 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of school at 2:43 p.m.

  • Two buses will be added to the route in the afternoon peak period. These buses will be used when required to provide a more reliable service on 36 Finch West, which is subject to severe delays from vehicular congestion.

14 Glencairn

  • New service will be operated during the midday from Monday to Friday. The bus will run every 45 minutes, from about 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

122 Graydon Hall

  • A new later eastbound trip will be added, leaving from York Mills Station at 7:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

38 Highland Creek

  • The round-trip travel time for this route will be reduced after 10:15 p.m., Monday to Saturday, to speed up service and better reflect the actual travel time required. There will be no change to the 20-minute service level. Buses will alternate trips between the 38 Highland Creek and 133 Neilson routes after 10:00 p.m.

191 Highway 27 Rocket

  • The 191 Highway 27 Express route will be renamed as 191 Highway 27 Rocket to better describe the route as one of the series of high-speed limited-stop Rocket routes.

  • New service will be operated during the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays. Monday to Friday midday service will operate every 16 minutes, and early evening service will operate every 20 to 22 minutes. On Saturdays, service will operate every 20 minutes. Buses will operate on the 191 (Kipling Stn-Steeles) branch, and will not serve either the Attwell Drive industrial area or Royalcrest Road. The routing at the Humber College area will change at noon.

  • Service will be increased during the morning peak period, to reduce overcrowding. The service will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes.

37 Islington

  • Service on the 37A (Islington Stn-Woodbine Centre and Humberline via Rexdale) branch will be increased during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to reduce overcrowding. During the afternoon peak period, service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 21 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes. There will be no change to service on the 37 (Islington Stn-Steeles) branch.

35 Jane

  • Northbound service from Jane Station will be increased at the end of the morning peak period, to reduce overcrowding. Two additional northbound trips will be added on the 35E (Jane Stn-York University Express) branch, departing at approximately 9:06 and 9:26 a.m. Six additional northbound trips will be added between Jane Station and Finch Avenue, departing between approximately 9:06 and 9:45 a.m.

  • Northbound service will be increased during the early part of the morning peak period on the 35D (Jane Stn-Langstaff Rd) branch, to reduce overcrowding. Three additional northbound trips will be added, between Sheppard Avenue and Langstaff Road. The first trip will give a new earlier first arrival at Langstaff Road at approximately 6:19 a.m., and the second and third trips will reduce overcrowding on the present 35D trips, and will improve the northbound service to about every eight minutes during the busiest part of the morning peak period.

107 Keele North

  • Service will be increased during the peak periods, to reduce overcrowding. One bus will be added during each of the morning and afternoon peak periods. During the morning, the service on each of the two branches will change from 18 minutes to 16 minutes 30 seconds. During the afternoon, the service on each of the two branches will change from every 20 minutes to every 18 minutes.

  • An extra trip will be operated southbound from Major Mackenzie, between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m. This trip will reduce overcrowding on the present 6:30 a.m. departure.

43 Kennedy

  • A school trip currently scheduled to depart from Kennedy Road and Steeles Avenue at 3:04 p.m. will be changed to depart at 3:07 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of Mary Ward Secondary School at 3:00 p.m.

504 King

  • Service will be increased during the morning peak period, to reduce overcrowding. Four streetcars will be added, and will operate additional trips eastbound from Roncesvalles to Broadview Station at busy times.

  • Service to Dundas West Station and to Broadview Station will be increased at the end of the afternoon peak period. Additional trips will be operated on Roncesvalles Avenue to Dundas West Station and on Broadview Avenue to Broadview Station. This will reduce overcrowding and allow a more reliable service to be operated.

12 Kingston Rd

  • An additional trip will be added late in the evening on Saturday nights on the 12D (Victoria Park Stn-Kingston Rd) branch, to fill a gap in service between the regular Saturday schedule and the beginning of all-night service. The new trip will depart Victoria Park Station at 1:30 a.m.

45 Kipling

  • A school trip currently departing northbound from Widdicombe Hill Boulevard at 3:30 p.m. to serve Central Etobicoke High School will be adjusted to depart at approximately 3:35 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 3:26 p.m.

44 Kipling South

  • Service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak periods, to reduce overcrowding. One bus will be added in each of the morning and afternoon, and the service will be improved from every 9 minutes to every 7 minutes.

  • A school trip currently departing from Lakeshore C.I. at 3:21 p.m. will be changed to depart at approximately 3:40 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 3:32 p.m.

54 Lawrence East

  • Service will be increased during the mid-afternoon, before the present afternoon peak period service begins, to reduce overcrowding. On the 54 (Eglinton Stn - Orton Park) and 54A (Eglinton Stn - Starspray Blvd) branches, the 12-minute afternoon peak period service will begin earlier, starting eastbound from Eglinton Station at approximately 2:00 p.m. and westbound from Starspray Boulevard at approximately 2:30 p.m. The combined service west of Orton Park Drive will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 6 minutes. There will be no change to the schedule of the 54E (Lawrence East Stn - Starspray Blvd Express branch.

59 Maple Leaf

  • A school trip currently departing eastbound from Church Street and Jane Street at 3:05 p.m. to serve Chaminade Secondary School will be changed to depart at approximately 2:45 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 2:36 p.m.

Route change

  • The route will be changed, at all times it operates, so that buses operate over a large on-street loop at the west end of the route. With this change, buses will alternate over two routings, so that buses which operate west via Church Street will return east via Gary Drive, and buses which operate west via Gary Drive will return east via Church Street. New service to Gary Drive will be provided in the midday from Monday to Friday. Service on the 59 Maple Leaf route will be removed from Weston Road, between Church Street and Lawrence Avenue, and from Knob Hill Drive. There will be no change to service levels or departure times from the subway stations.

102 Markham Rd

  • Service on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays before 7:00 p.m. will be extended to McNicoll Avenue, over the same route as is used in the midday and evening from Monday to Friday. Saturday, Sunday, and holiday evening service will continue to end at Sheppard Avenue. The service will operate every 12 to 30 minutes, and there will be no change to service levels on the present route, south of Sheppard Avenue.

  • A school trip currently departing southbound from Malvern Gate at 2:46 p.m. to serve Cedarbrae C.I. will be changed to depart from Malvern Gate at 3:08 p.m. to better serve the new dismissal time of at 3:10 p.m.

  • Because of changes to school schedules, the trip which departs southbound from Malvern Gate at 2:52 p.m. is no longer required, and so it will be removed.

  • A school trip will be added to serve Cardinal Newman Secondary School at the time that students leave school in the afternoon. The new trip will depart Warden Station at approximately 2:35 p.m. as a 102A (Warden Stn-Centennial College) trip.

46 Martin Grove

  • Service will be reduced during the midday from Monday to Friday, because the introduction of new midday service on the 191 Highway 27 Rocket route will reduce ridership on this parallel route. The service will change from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.

130 Middlefield

  • New service will be provided on this route between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays and holidays, operating every 30 minutes. Service will operate only as far north as Passmore Avenue, on the new 130A (Scarborough Centre-Passmore) branch.

116 Morningside

  • Two school trips which serve Sir Wilfrid Laurier C.I. will be changed to depart approximately 20 minutes later, to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 3:35 p.m. A trip currently departing northbound from Guildwood Parkway and Kingston Road at 3:18 p.m. will be changed to depart at 3:38 p.m. and a trip now departing southbound from Lawrence Avenue and Morningside Avenue at 3:14 p.m. will be changed to depart at 3:34 p.m.

131 Nugget

  • Service will be increased between approximately 6:45 and 7:45 p.m. Monday to Friday to relieve overcrowding. Two eastbound trips will be added, and the service will be improved from every 12 to 20 minutes to every 10 to 12 minutes.

  • New service will be operated during the early evening on Saturdays, operating every 25 minutes, until approximately 10:25 p.m.

134 Progress

  • The present 134 Tapscott and 171 Progress East routes will be combined, to use a single route name and number, 134 Progress, and a single schedule. This change will improve information for customers by better describing the area the route serves and by giving a consistent designation for every day of the week to the service on Progress Avenue. There will be no change to the service levels during the daytime from Monday to Saturday.

Routing change

  • The 9 Bellamy and 134 Progress routes will be changed to improve service for customers travelling to or from the area east of McCowan Road and north of Progress Avenue. Buses on the 134 Progress route will no longer operate on the section of Progress Avenue between Consilium Place and Bellamy Road, and eastbound buses will no longer operate on Bushby Drive or Grangeway Avenue.

In the evening, service to Centennial College will operate every 20 minutes, until shortly after approximately 11:00 p.m. On Sundays and holidays, service to McLevin Avenue will operate every 30 minutes, until approximately 7:00 p.m. (Service on Tapscott Road north of McLevin on Sundays and holidays is provided by the 133B Neilson route

80 Queensway

  • New service will be operated during the daytime on Sundays and holidays, between Humber Loop and Sherway. The new service will run through with the 66 Prince Edward route, in order to provide a direct connection with the Bloor-Danforth Subway. The new service on The Queensway will operate every 30 minutes. There will be no change to the 15-minute service which is presently operated on the 66 Prince Edward route, or to departure times at Old Mill Station.

84 Sheppard West

  • Two school trips currently departing eastbound from Weston Road and Starview Lane at 3:05 and 3:13 p.m. to serve St. Basil-the-Great College School, will be changed to depart at 2:50 and 2:58 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 2:40 p.m.

53 Steeles East

  • A new trip will be added early in the morning, to relieve overcrowding by increasing service from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes. The new trip will leave from Markham Road at 5:30 a.m.

  • A school trip currently departing eastbound from Brebeuf College at 2:35 p.m. will be changed to depart at approximately 2:50 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 2:35 p.m.

  • Because of changes to school schedules, the trips which depart westbound from Bayview Avenue at 3:00 p.m. and 3:03 p.m. are no longer required, and so they will be removed.

60 Steeles West

  • Westbound service from Finch Station will be increased at the end of the daytime on Sundays and holidays, to reduce overcrowding. Three additional westbound trips will be added, at approximately 6:30, 6:50, and 7:10 p.m., between Finch Station and Weston Road.

77 Swansea

  • The service south of Bloor Street now provided by the 71/71B Runnymede route and the 79A Scarlett Rd. route will be designated as 77 Swansea, to provide a consistent name for the service and a name that better describes the area served. There will be no change to the schedule. Buses will run through between 77 Swansea and either 71/71B Runnymede or 79 Scarlett Rd. at Runnymede Station, so that through service is still possible along Runnymede Road. There will be no changes to the scheduled trip times.

Northbound buses will operate on the 112C route via Rangoon and Skyway, and southbound buses will operate on the 112F route via Carlingview and Rangoon.

  • Two school trips currently departing westbound from Madonna Secondary School at 2:50 and 3:20 p.m. will be changed to depart at approximately 3:18 and 3:25 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 3:10 p.m.

97 Yonge

  • Service will be reduced during the morning and afternoon on Sundays and holidays, when ridership is low. The service will be changed from every 12 minutes to every 20 minutes.

106 York University

  • Two school trips currently departing southbound from Sentinel Road and Finch Avenue at 3:06 and 3:15 p.m., to serve C. W. Jefferys High School, will be changed to depart at approximately 3:11 and 3:20 p.m., to better serve the new dismissal time of the school at 3:10 p.m.

  • Service will be increased during the early evening on Saturdays, to reduce overcrowding. One bus will be added, and the service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes.

196 York University Rocket

  • The 196 York University Express route will be renamed as 196 York University Rocket to better describe the route as one of the series of high-speed limited-stop Rocket routes. There will be no change to the schedule.
