117 Alness 

Schedule change

  • The schedule will be adjusted, in order to operate a more-reliable service. There will be minor changes to trip times along the route. There will be no change to service levels, or to departure times from either terminal.

23 Dawes 

Service increase and later trip

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, between approximately 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m, to reduce overcrowding. The service will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes.

  • Service will be increased at the end of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding. Two additional round trips will be operated, extending the afternoon peak period level of service to approximately 6:45 p.m. (departure time from Main Street Station).

  • A new later northbound trip will be added from Monday to Saturday. The trip will depart from Main Street Station at 1:15 a.m.

25 Don Mills  

Service increase

  • At the request of Markham Transit (York Region), service will be increased during the peak periods from Monday to Friday on the 25D Don Mills (Pape Station-16th Ave) service. The service will be improved from every 24 minutes 30 seconds to every 14 minutes in the morning peak period, and from every 40 minutes to every 16 minutes in the afternoon peak period.

108 Downsview 

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the late evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding. The service will be improved from every 22 minutes to every 15 minutes.

105 Dufferin North 

Schedule change

  • The schedule will be adjusted, in order to operate a more-reliable service. There will be minor changes to trip times along the route. There will be no change to service levels, or to departure times from either terminal.

308 Finch East  , and 309 Finch West 

Route change

  • The 308 Finch East and 309 Finch West overnight routes will be changed so that buses run through between the two routes, and provide a new through service crossing Yonge Street. With this change, buses on both routes will no longer loop through Finch Station, but will remain on Finch Avenue. There will be no change to route names, destination signs, or service levels.

Routing details

Westbound — Over the regular 308 Finch East route west on Finch Avenue to Yonge Street. At Yonge Street, continue west on Finch Avenue over the regular 309 Finch West route.

Eastbound — Over the regular 309 Finch West route east on Finch Avenue to Yonge Street. At Yonge Street, continue east on Finch Avenue over the regular 308 Finch East route.

509 Harbourfront 

Seasonal service increase

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on weekends and holidays, as ridership increases along Harbourfront in the spring. On Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 13 minutes to every 10 minutes. On Sundays and holidays, the service will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 10 minutes.

Seasonal service change

  • Early evening service will be operated on Sundays and holidays, because ridership increases along Harbourfront in the spring. Service will operate every 20 minutes. The last trip times will be the same as on Saturdays.

47 Lansdowne 

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce overcrowding. The combined service between Queen Street and St. Clair Avenue will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes 30 s. Service north of St. Clair Avenue will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 11 minutes.

102 Markham Rd 

Service increase

  • An additional trip will be added to the 102 Markham Rd. route to reduce overcrowding when students are dismissed from the Scarborough Centre for Alternative Studies at 3:00 p.m. The new trip will depart from the stop in front of Centennial College between 3:05 and 3:10 p.m.

129 McCowan North 

Service increase

  • At the request of Markham Transit (York Region), service will be increased during the peak periods from Monday to Friday on the 129A McCowan North (Scarborough Centre Station-16th Ave) service. The service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes.

57 Midland 

Service change

  • Buses which leave service at the north end of the route will be changed to operate over the entire on-street loop, so that customers can travel directly all the way to their stop. This change will be made every day of the week, to all trips which leave service at the north end of the route.

Routing details

Northbound – Over the regular route north on Midland Avenue, then west on Passmore Avenue, north on Silver Star Boulevard, east on Steeles Avenue, and south on Midland Avenue to Passmore Avenue. Buses will then leave service.

501/301 Queen , 504 King , 508 Lake Shore 

Track reconstruction

  • The streetcar track on Queen Street between Roncesvalles Avenue and Noble Street (one block west of Dufferin Street) will be reconstructed. All streetcars on the 501/301 Queen route will be diverted westbound via Shaw Street and King Street and eastbound via King Street and Dufferin Street. Service levels will not change.

  • There will be no replacement bus service for this project, because Queen Street through the construction site will not be passable for buses. Customers for eastbound 501 Queen cars should walk to the stops on The Queensway at Roncesvalles Avenue, on Dufferin Street at Queen Street, or on King Street between Roncesvalles Avenue and Dufferin Street. Customers for westbound 501 Queen cars should walk to the stops on Queen Street at Shaw Street, or the stops on King Street between Shaw Street and Roncesvalles Avenue.

  • Minor changes will also be made to the schedules of the 504 King and 508 Lake Shore routes, in order to improve the reliability of the service. Routings and service levels will not change, although there will be some minor changes to trip times on the 508 Lake Shore route, in both the morning and afternoon. The trip times for the westbound 508 Lake Shore streetcars leaving Yonge Street will not change.

  • This project will last for approximately ten weeks. Streetcars will return to their regular routing as soon as track and roadway conditions permit.

Routing details

501/301 Westbound — Over the regular route west on Queen Street, then south on Shaw Street, west on King Street, and west on The Queensway over the regular route.

501/301 Eastbound — Over the regular route east on The Queensway, then east on King Street, north on Dufferin Street, and east on Queen Street over the regular route.

80 Queensway , 66 Prince Edward 

Running time increase

  • The running time will be increased on Sundays and holidays on the 80B Queensway (Sherway-Humber Loop) service, in order to operate a more reliable service. The 80B service will change from every 30 minutes to every 22 minutes, and the 66A Prince Edward (Old Mills Station-Humber Loop) service, which runs through with the 80B service, will change from every 15 minutes to every 22 minutes.

71 Runnymede , 79 Scarlett Rd  , 77 Swansea

The destination signs used when these routes run through with each other will be changed, so that more information is included about the ultimate destination of the bus.

Service increase

  • At the request of Markham Transit (York Region), service will be increased during the peak periods from Monday to Friday on the 68B Warden (Warden Station-16th Ave) service. The service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes in the morning, and from every 32 minutes 30 seconds to every 19 minutes 30 seconds in the afternoon.

165 Weston Rd North 

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the morning peak period, to reduce overcrowding. The service will be improved from every 7 minutes 30 seconds to every 7 minutes south of Steeles Avenue, and from every 30 minutes to every 28 minutes north of Steeles Avenue.

91 Woodbine 

Trip time change

  • One trip will be revised at the beginning of the afternoon peak period to better match dismissal times at Milne Valley Middle School. The trip that is scheduled to depart the school at 3:10 p.m. will be changed to depart at 3:14 p.m. This trip follows the 91D routing to Woodbine Station via Sunrise Avenue.
