Seasonal Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Service will be increased to accommodate increased summer travel to Exhibition Place and Ontario Place. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, service will be increased during the evenings to every 8 minutes 40 seconds.

172 CHERRY STREET

Seasonal Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • New seasonal evening service will be operated, seven days a week. From Monday to Friday, the service will operate every 20 minutes as far south as Commissioners Street only, on the 172A (Union Station-Commissioners) branch. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays the service will operate every 30 minutes to Cherry Beach (Clarke Beach Park) on the 172 (Union Station-Cherry Beach) branch. Last day of summer evening service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 4, 2006.

509 HARBOURFRONT

Seasonal Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Service will be increased throughout the week along the Harbourfront, because of increased summer ridership. Frequent streetcar service will be operated on both routes from Union Station.

30 LAMBTON

Seasonal route extension - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Service will be operated into High Park on the 30B LAMBTON (Kipling Station-High Park via High Park Station) branch, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Service will operate every 20 minutes on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays. The last day of this summer service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 4, 2006.

64 MAIN

Seasonal Service Increase - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on Sundays, as travel increases to the waterfront. Service will operate every 15 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. The last day of this increased service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 4, 2006.

63/316 OSSINGTON and 109 RANEE

New accessible service - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • New accessible service will be operated on this route, using low-floor buses.

73 ROYAL YORK

Schedule Change - Effective Monday, June 19, 2006

  • One later northbound trip leaving Royal York Station will be added at 6:30 p.m. on the 73B Royal York (Royal York Station-Eglinton and La Rose Ave) branch from Monday to Friday.

85 SHEPPARD EAST

Schedule Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • The first Monday-Friday westbound trip will be changed on the 85 (Sheppard-Yonge Station-Meadowvale) branch to provide a better connection with southbound 320 YONGE buses, and a more-even level of service early in the morning.

Seasonal Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • The last eastbound trip on Sundays and holidays from the Toronto Zoo to Rouge Hill GO Station will be changed to operate approximately 30 minutes later, to better match the last trip times at other times of the week.

510 Spadina

Seasonal service increase - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Service will be changed for the summer, to accommodate increased travel in the Harbourfront area. During daytime from Monday to Friday, service will operate every 6 minutes to every 6 minutes 20 seconds along Queens Quay. In the evening after 9:00 p.m., seven nights a week, service will operate every 6 minutes to every 8 minutes.

92 WOODBINE SOUTH

Seasonal Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • New seasonal late evening service will be operated, seven days a week, with increased service during the early evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, to accommodate increased summer ridership to and from the lake shore. At these times, buses will operate every 15 minutes. The last day of this additional seasonal service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 4, 2006.

95 YORK MILLS

Service Change - Effective Sunday, June 18, 2006

  • Running time will be increased in both directions between Birchmount Road and Kennedy Road, to reduce delays from a major City of Toronto road reconstruction project. During the morning and afternoon period periods, buses will operate every 3 minutes 10 seconds to every 4 minutes 50 seconds, west of Victoria Park Avenue. At other times, buses will operate every 8 minutes to every 20 minutes. The City work will last until the end of November. A second phase of the work, between Birchmount Road and Warden Avenue, will take place in 2007.

  • Seasonal service reductions will be made in peak periods on many other routes, to match reduced ridership levels. These routes are listed below.
    In addition to the reductions listed in the table, extra trips that have been added to the schedules to accommodate school traffic at the end of the morning peak and the beginning of the afternoon peak period will be removed for the summer.

Holiday Service

On Canada Day weekend, TTC service will be provided, as follows:

  • Friday, June 30: Normal weekday service

  • Saturday, July 1: Normal Saturday service

  • Sunday, July 2: Normal Sunday service

  • Monday, July 3: Saturday service. All TTC routes will operate on their Saturday schedules. Any routes that do not normally operate on Saturdays will not operate on this day. The subway will start at 6:00 a.m.
