511 Bathurst

Seasonal service increase

• Service will be increased to accommodate increased summer travel to Exhibition Place and Ontario Place. From Monday to Friday, there will be no change to the schedule or trip times, but higher-capacity articulated streetcars (ALRVs) will be used in the midday and evening, in order to provide increased capacity.

• On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, when ALRVs are already used, service will be increased during the evenings. The service will be improved from every 10 min to every 8 min 40 s.

505 Dundas

Seasonal service reliability improvement

• Schedules will be adjusted to make the service more reliable and evenly-spaced during the midday and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, when traffic congestion downtown causes delays. At busy times, streetcar drivers will be given longer to complete their trips. There will be no change to service levels.

509 Harbourfront

Seasonal service increase

• Service will be increased during the midday, afternoon peak period, and evenings from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime and early evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, because ridership increases along Harbourfront in the summer. From Monday to Friday, the service will operate every 10 min until 7:00 p.m., and every 12 min after 7:00 p.m. On Saturdays, Sunday, and holidays, the service will operate every 8 min.

Seasonal service increase

• Service to Exhibition Place will start an hour earlier from Monday to Friday because of increased activities at Exhibition Place in the summer.

30 Lambton

Seasonal route extension

• Service will be operated into High Park on the 30B Lambton (Kipling Station-High Park via High Park Stn) branch, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Service will operate every 20 min on Saturdays and every 30 min on Sundays and holidays. The last day of service into High Park be Labour Day, Monday, September 2, 2002.

Routing

From High Park Station, south on High Park Avenue, looping through High Park via south on West Road and north on Colborne Lodge Drive, then north on High Park Avenue to High Park Station.

64 Main and 23 Dawes

Seasonal service increase

• Service will be increased during the daytime on Sundays and holidays. Ridership on Sundays and holidays on the 64 Main route increases each summer, as travel increases to the Beach. The service will be improved from every 20 min to every 15 min.

• This change will also be made on the 23 Dawes route. The service will be improved from every 20 min to every 15 min. The last day of the increased service will be Labour Day, Monday September 2, 2002.

63 OSSINGTON

Revised routing

• The south-end on-street loop will be changed, to more closely serve the King Street/Strachan Avenue intersection. This change will be made at all times. With this change, service will be removed from Crawford Street and Canniff Street. The routing of the 316 Ossington overnight service will not change.

Routing

Southbound: Over the regular route south on Shaw Street, then east on King Street and south on Strachan Avenue to a new stop between King Street and Canniff Street.

Northbound: South on Strachan Avenue, west on Douro Street, north on Shaw Street to the regular route.

165 Weston Road North

Service reduction

• One round trip will be discontinued, because of low ridership.

Trip details

The 1:14 a.m. Sunday last southbound/eastbound departure from Finch Avenue will be discontinued.
The 1:44 a.m. Sunday last westbound/northbound departure from Wilson Station will be discontinued.
