Direct
service to Rochester-Toronto Ferry
- Effective Thursday, June 30, 2005

Service
will be operated to the International Marine Passenger Terminal at
Cherry Street and Unwin Avenue, to serve the Rochester-Toronto ferry.
Service will be provided seven days a week by the 172 CHERRY STREET
(Union Station-Cherry Beach and International Marine Passenger
Terminal) route. From Monday to Friday, buses will operate every
40 minutes, between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon, and
between approximately 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. On Saturdays, Sundays,
and holidays, buses will operate every 20 minutes throughout the day,
from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

From Front Street at Bay Street (far side), east on Front Street, south on
Scott Street, east on The Esplanade, north on Berkeley Street, east on
Front Street, south on Parliament Street, east on Mill Street, south on
Cherry Street, west on Unwin Avenue, south and west to the International
Marine Passenger Terminal.
Northbound/westbound:
From the
International Marine Passenger Terminal, east on Unwin Avenue, south on
Cherry Street to Cherry Beach (Clarke Beach) Park. Return north on Cherry
Street, west on Mill Street, north on Parliament Street, west on Front
Street, south on Berkeley Street, west on The Esplanade, north on Yonge
Street, west on Wellington Street, south on Bay Street to west on Front
Street.

evenings from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime and early
evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, because ridership
increases along Harbourfront in the summer. On weekdays, service will
operate every 10 minutes in the midday, every 8 minutes in the
afternoon, and every 12 minutes after 7:00 p.m. On Saturdays, Sunday,
and holidays, between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., service will operate
every 8 minutes.

the daytime on Saturdays, service on each of the 43 (Kennedy

branches will be improved from every 18 minutes to every 12 minutes.

20 minutes on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays.
The last day of this summer service will be Labour Day, Monday,
September 5, 2005.
