Temporary service during road construction - Effective Monday, June 25, 2007

  • Schedules will be revised to reduce delays during the City of Toronto's reconstruction of Bathurst Street, between Lawrence Avenue and Shallmar Boulevard. Minor changes will be made to service levels. Trip times at individual bus stops along the route will change.

511 Bathurst

Seasonal service increase - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Service will be increased to accommodate increased summer travel to Exhibition Place and Ontario Place. From Monday to Friday, more of the longer articulated streetcars will be used on the route.

  • On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays service will be increased during the evenings to every 8 to 9 minutes.

21 Brimley

New Monday-Saturday late evening service to Steeles Avenue - Effective Monday, June 25, 2007

  • New service will be operated north of Scarborough Centre Station to Steeles Avenue during the late evening from Monday to Saturday, for a trial period. Buses will run every 30 minutes.

  • New service will be operated for a trial period during the late evening on Sundays and holidays. The new service will operate every 22 minutes.

Seasonal service increase - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Service will be increased at most times of the week, because ridership increases along Harbourfront in the summer. Service will operate every 8 minutes during the daytime and early evening, and every 10 minutes during the late evening, every day.

14 Glencairn

Temporary service during road construction - Effective Monday, June 25, 2007

Seasonal route extension - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Service will be operated into High Park on the 30B LAMBTON (Kipling Station-High Park via High Park Station) branch, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Service will operate every 20 minutes on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays. The last day of this summer service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 3, 2007.

From High Park Station (southbound platform): south on High Park Avenue, south on Colborne Lodge Drive, south and west on West Road, north on Colborne Lodge Drive, north on High Park Avenue to High Park Station (northbound/westbound platform).

  • New service north of Finch Avenue on the 133 (Scarborough Centre Station-Morningside Heights) branch will be operated during the late evening from Monday to Friday, for a trial period. The service will operate every 20 minutes.

  • New accessible service will be operated, using low-floor buses.

65 Parliament

Additional service during Dundas Street track reconstruction - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Service levels and hours of operation will be temporarily increased, so that customers who normally use the 505 DUNDAS streetcar service can use instead a frequent north-south bus service to transfer to streetcars at Gerrard Street or to travel to the Bloor-Danforth Subway. Service will operate every 9 to 10 minutes at all times, and will run until approximately 12:30 a.m. every day.

101 Parc Downsview Park

New seasonal service - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • A new bus service will be operated for a trial period between Downsview Station  and Parc Downsview Park. The new 101 PARC DOWNSVIEW PARK  (Downsview Station-Parc Downsview Park) route will operate every 20 minutes during the midday from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, from June 24 to Labour Day, Monday, September 3, 2007.  The route will be accessible, and will use a low-floor bus.

Temporary schedule change - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Because of a temporary schedule change on the 75 SHERBOURNE route, service on the 82 ROSEDALE route during the late evening from Monday to Friday, the evening on Saturdays, and all day on Sundays and holidays will change from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes. During these times buses on the 82 ROSEDALE route will not continue south onto the 75 SHERBOURNE route when they arrive at South Drive.

190 Scarborough Centre Rocket

New evening service - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • New service will be operated for a trial period during the late evening from Monday to Friday and the early evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The service will operate every 15 minutes.

75 Sherbourne

New seasonal service at Queens Quay - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • New service will be provided on Queens Quay east of Sherbourne Street for the summer.  At all times, buses will operate south on Sherbourne Street, east on Lake Shore Boulevard, south on Small Street, west on Queens Quay, and north on Jarvis Street to the regular route. The last day of this seasonal service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 3, 2007.

Routing details:

Southbound: Over the regular route south on Lower Sherbourne Street, then east on Lake Shore Boulevard, south on Small Street, west on Queens Quay to Lower Jarvis Street.

Northbound: From Lower Jarvis Street and Queens Quay, north on Lower Jarvis Street, east on The Esplanade, north on Sherbourne Street over the regular route.

Additional service during Dundas Street track reconstruction

  • Service levels will be temporarily increased, so that customers who normally use the 505 DUNDAS streetcar service can use instead a frequent north-south bus service to transfer to streetcars at Carlton Street or to travel to the Bloor-Danforth Subway. Service will operate every 7 to 10 minutes at all times. During this temporary service change, 75 SHERBOURNE buses in the evening and on Sundays will not continue onto the 82 ROSEDALE route when they arrive at South Drive.

510 Spadina

Seasonal service increase - Effective Sunday, June 24, 2007

  • Service will be changed for the summer, to accommodate increased travel in the Harbourfront area. During daytime from Monday to Friday, service will operate every 6 to 7 minutes along Queens Quay. In the evening after 9:00 p.m., seven nights a week, service will operate every 6 to 8 minutes along the entire route.

53 Steeles East

Route extension to Staines Road during Monday-Friday peak periods - Effective Monday, June 25, 2007

  • Every second bus on the 53 STEELES EAST EXPRESS route will be extended east to Staines Road during the peak periods from Monday to Friday, for a trial period. Buses on the new 53F STEELES EAST EXPRESS (Finch Station-Staines) service will operate every 10 minutes in the morning peak period, and every 12 minutes in the afternoon peak period. Buses on this new service will loop via south on Staines Road, counter-clockwise via Quietbrook Crescent, and north on Staines Road.

  • Westbound buses will serve all stops on Steeles Avenue from Staines Road to Victoria Park Avenue, and then stop only at Woodbine Avenue, Don Mills Road, Bayview Avenue and at Finch Station. Eastbound buses will stop only at Finch Station, Bayview Avenue, Don Mills Road and Woodbine Avenue, and then serve all local stops on Steeles Avenue between Victoria Park Avenue and Staines Road.

  • New service on the 53B STEELES EAST (Finch Station-Markham Rd) branch will be operated for a trial period during the late evening from Monday to Friday and during the evening on Sundays. Service will operate every 15 minutes during the late evening from Monday to Friday, every 18 minutes during the early evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, and every 20 minutes during the late evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
