30 LAMBTON   

Seasonal service - Effective June 21, 2009 

  • Service will be operated into High Park on the 30B LAMBTON (Kipling Station-High Park via High Park Station) branch, on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Service will operate every 20 minutes on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays. The last day of this summer service will be Labour Day, Monday, September 7, 2009.

35 JANE 

Seasonal service change - Effective June 22, 2009 

  • The 35E JANE (Jane Station-York University Express) branch will be discontinued for the summer, because of reduced summer ridership. Combined frequent service will continue to be provided between Jane & Steeles and Jane Station by the 35A and 35C branches.

44 KIPLING SOUTH

Service increase - Effective June 22, 2009 

  • Service will be increased in the evenings from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes.

Seasonal service reductions - Effective June 22, 2009 

  • Service will be reduced during Monday to Friday morning and afternoon peak periods to match reduced summer ridership levels.

60 STEELES WEST

Seasonal service change - Effective June 22, 2009

  • Service will be reduced during the midday from Monday to Friday on the 60C (Finch Station-York University) branch, as ridership declines due to a reduction in the number of students travelling to York University. The service on this branch will change from every 6 minutes to every 12 minutes.

64 MAIN

Seasonal service change - Effective June 21, 2009

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on Sundays, to accommodate increased summer ridership. Service will operate every 15 minutes between 11:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

92 WOODBINE SOUTH

Seasonal service change - Effective June 22, 2009

  • Service will be increased in the midday from Monday to Friday, to accommodate increased summer ridership. Service will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 8 minutes.

96 WILSON

Seasonal service change - Effective June 22, 2009

  • The 96E WILSON (Wilson Station-Humber College Express) branch will be discontinued for the summer, because of reduced summer ridership. Frequent service will continue to be operated on the 96A WILSON and 96B WILSON local branches.

133 NEILSON 

Service increase - Effective June 22, 2009

  • Two early morning trips from Monday to Friday and one early morning trip on Saturdays that now begin southbound on Neilson Road at Finch Avenue will be changed to start in service southbound from Morningside Avenue and Staines Road.

Monday-Friday: New earlier trips at 4:59 and 5:20 a.m. southbound from Morningside Avenue and Staines Road.
Saturday: New earlier trip at 5:15 a.m. southbound from Morningside Avenue and Staines Road.

139 FINCH-DON MILLS

New accessible and bike rack service - Effective June 22, 2009

  • New accessible service and new bike rack service will be operated on this route.

509 HARBOURFRONT

Seasonal service change - Effective June 21, 2009

  • Service will be increased at most times of the week, to accommodate increased summer ridership. Service will operate every six to eight minutes at most times of the week.

510 SPADINA

Service increase - Effective June 22, 2009

  • An additional southbound trip from Spadina Station will be added from Monday to Friday, departing at 6:07 a.m. This trip will provide better connections for customers arriving on the first eastbound subway train.

Seasonal service increase - Effective June 22, 2009

  • Service will be changed for the summer, to accommodate increased summer ridership. After approximately 9:00 a.m. from Monday to Friday, the streetcars that normally operate as far south as King Street only will be extended to operate to Queens Quay & Spadina. During the daytime from Monday to Friday, service will operate every 6 minutes along Queens Quay. In the evening, seven nights a week, service will operate every 6 minutes along the entire route.

511 BATHURST

Seasonal service change - Effective June 21, 2009

  • Service will be increased to accommodate increased summer travel to Exhibition Place and Ontario Place. Streetcars will run every four to seven minutes, at all times of the week.

  • Seasonal service reductions will be made on many routes, primarily to match reduced summer ridership levels during the peak periods. These routes are listed below.

  • In addition to the reductions listed in the table, extra trips that are operated to accommodate school traffic at the end of the morning peak and the beginning of the afternoon peak period will be removed for the summer.

SERVICE TO SUMMER SPECIAL EVENTS

Indy car race

  • The Honda Indy Toronto automobile race and associated events will be held from Friday, July 10 to Sunday, July 12, 2009, at Exhibition Place. Service will be significantly increased at busy times throughout the weekend on the 509 HARBOURFRONT, 511 BATHURST, and 29 DUFFERIN routes.

  • Exhibition Loop and Dufferin Loop will become fare-paid areas during busy times, and customers will pay their fare upon entering the loops.

  • All service on the 29 DUFFERIN route will operate as far south as Dufferin Loop only, and will not operate into Exhibition Place. The 329 DUFFERIN and 316 OSSINGTON overnight routes will be changed to divert around Exhibition Place.
