400 LAWRENCE MANOR

Route Extension to No Frills - Effective Tuesday, July 4, 2006

  • The 400 Lawrence Manor Community Bus service has been extended north to the No Frills at Wilson & Bathrust. Schedules have been updated accordingly.

109 RANEE

Temporary service - road construction - Effective Sunday, July 30, 2006

  • A temporary service will be operated in order to reduce delays during the City of Toronto's reconstruction of Marlee Avenue. The route will be split into two parts at Lawrence West Station during the daytime, seven days a week. Buses on the 109S (Eglinton West Station-Lawrence West Station) south part of the route will operate every 15 to 18 minutes during the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Buses on the 109B/109C (Lawrence West Station-Neptune) north part of the route will operate every 12 to 15 minutes during the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Customers travelling past Lawrence West Station in either direction can transfer between the two halves of the route inside the station.

  • During the evenings, seven days a week, service will continue to operate along the entire route, from Eglinton West Station to Neptune. There will be no change to service levels at these times, but specific trip times will change. See PDF for routing details.

48 RATHBURN

Temporary service - City construction - Effective Sunday, July 30, 2006

  • Buses have returned to the regular route on Royal York Road with the completion of City of Toronto road reconstruction north of Bloor Street. Temporary schedules will continue to be operated until construction work south of Bloor Street is completed. Service during the early evening from Monday to Friday will operate every 20 minutes instead of every 30 minutes, and service during the daytime on Sundays and holidays will operate every 30 minutes instead of every 45 minutes.

Holiday Service

On the August Simcoe Day Civic Holiday weekend, TTC service will be provided, as follows:

  • Saturday, August 5: A regular Saturday service will be operated.

  • Sunday, August 6: A regular Sunday service will be operated.

  • Monday, August 7: A summer holiday service will be operated on most TTC routes (see below for exceptions). Routes will operate on their Sunday service schedules, but will start earlier, at pproximately 6:00 a.m. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not operate on the holiday.

On the Labour Day Holiday weekend, TTC service will be provided, as follows:

  • Saturday, September 2: A regular Saturday service will be operated.

  • Sunday, September 3: A summer Sunday service will be operated.

  • Monday, September 4: A summer holiday service will be operated on most TTC routes (see below for exceptions). Routes will operate on their Sunday service schedules, but will start earlier, at aproximately 6:00 a.m. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not operate on the holiday.
