City of Toronto construction ends - Effective August 3, 2008

  • The City of Toronto project to reconstruct Royal York Road has ended. The TTC will no longer use the temporary schedules it used during the construction project for buses operating on this route. Starting Sunday, August 3, the TTC will change specific trip times and reduce the frequency of service to every 22-1/2 minutes instead of every 20 minutes from about 10 a.m. until 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, as buses resume the regular summer schedule. Buses operating on the 15 Evans route will again interline with the 48 Rathburn route early Monday to Friday evenings before 10 p.m. and all day on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

  • The City of Toronto project to reconstruct Islington Avenue between Bloor Street West and the Queensway has ended. The TTC will no longer use the temporary schedules it used during the construction project for buses operating on this route. Starting Sunday, August 3, the TTC will change specific trip times as buses resume the regular summer schedule for the route.

Starting Sunday, August 3, the TTC will change specific trip times as buses resume the regular summer schedule for the route. Buses operating on the 48 Rathburn route will again interline with the 15 Evans route early Monday to Friday evenings before 10 p.m., until 10 p.m. on Saturdays and until 7 p.m. on Sundays and holidays.

  • The City of Toronto project to reconstruct Royal York Road has ended. The TTC will no longer use the temporary schedules it used during the construction project for buses operating on this route. Starting Sunday, August 3, the TTC will change specific trip times and the frequency of service as buses resume the regular summer schedule for the route. During Monday-to-Friday morning rush hours, the TTC will increase the frequency of service from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes, 40 minutes. From about 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Mondays to Fridays, the TTC will decrease the frequency of service from every 8 minutes to every 9 minutes.
