192 Airport Rocket

Service reduced

  • Service in the morning peak will be reduced Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 40 minutes.

117 Alness

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak periods. The service will be improved to every 8 minutes in the morning peak and to every 12 minutes in the afternoon peak.

5 Avenue Rd

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 12 minutes in the morning peak.

61 Avenue Rd North

New evening and weekend service to Highway 401

  • New evening and weekend service will be operated north of Roe Loop to Highway 401, on the 61A (Eglinton Station-Highway 401) branch. Monday-Friday early evening service will change from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, the service will continue to operate every 20 minutes. Monday- Friday late evening service, and Saturday, Sunday, and holiday evening service, will change from every 30 minutes to every 35 minutes. With this route change, there will be no scheduled service into Roe Loop. (See PDF for first and last departure times.)

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 15 minutes in the morning peak.

7 Bathurst

Service reliability improvement

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules in the late evenings, seven days a week, so that a more-reliable service will be operated. During the late evening from Monday to Saturday, the service will change from every 11 minutes, 15 seconds to every 12 minutes, 30 seconds. On Sundays and holidays, the service will change from every 11 minutes, 15 seconds to every 12 minutes.

Service Reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period on the 7A (St Clair West Station-Wilson Station) branch. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

160 Bathurst North

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the early evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 40 minutes.

6 Bay

Summer evening service ends

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holiday evening service will end.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday. The combined service north of Queens Quay will change from every 4 minutes to every 4 minutes, 45 seconds.

11 Bayview

Service change

  • Service will be changed during the afternoon peak period. The 11 (Steeles) branch will now provide a 24 minute afternoon peak service. 11 and 11A (Sheppard) branches will combine to provide a 12 minute afternoon peak service, on the common portion of the route, between Bayview Mews (Sheppard) & Bayview Avenue and Davisville Station.

9 Bellamy

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 14 minutes, 30 seconds to every 18 minutes.

17 Birchmount

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 21 minutes in the morning peak on the 17A (14th Avenue) branch. 17 and 17A buses will combine to provide a 7 minute morning peak service between Steeles & Birchmount and Warden Station.

50 Burnhamthorpe

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 10 minutes in the morning peak.

120 Calvington

Service increase

  • An earlier round trip will be added at the start of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to better serve students at schools along the route.

Trip Details

  • New earlier afternoon round trip departing from Sheppard & Northover at 2:30 p.m. and from Wilson Station at 3:00 p.m.

172 Cherry Street

Routing revised - Service reduction - Effective September 8, 2004

  • Service to the Toronto International Ferry Terminal has ended. All buses on the 172 Cherry Street route now operate to Cherry Beach only.

  • Service levels and hours of operation will be reduced, to reflect lower non-summer activity levels. Monday-Friday daytime service to the Cherry Beach loop (Clarke Beach) will be provided by the 172 CHERRY STREET route.

  • The 172 CHERRY STREET (Union Station-Cherry Beach) route will operate a limited service during the morning and afternoon from Monday to Friday, service will operate every 40 minutes. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the 172 CHERRY STREET route will continue to provide daytime service. Service will operate every 20 minutes.

  • Service on the 72B PAPE (Pape Station-Union Station via Commissioners and Cherry) branch will be eliminated, and will revert back to the 72A PAPE (Pape Station-Union Station via Commissioners) service as was operated before May 2004. With this change, buses on the 72 PAPE route will no longer divert south of Commissioners Street to Cherry Beach or to the now closed ferry terminal.

20 Cliffside

New Sunday and holiday evening service

  • New Sunday and holiday early evening service will be operated. Service will operate every 60 minutes. Trip times will be the same as on Saturdays.

22 Coxwell

Trip time change

  • The departure time of the last southbound 22 COXWELL bus from Coxwell Station, seven days a week, will be changed to depart a few minutes later, at 2:10 a.m. This will allow customers to connect from the last eastbound subway train.

42 Cummer

New Monday-Friday midday service to Middlefield

  • New Monday-Friday midday service to Middlefield Road will be operated, on the 42A (Finch Station-Middlefield) branch. Service will be operated every 30 minutes. There will be no change to the 15 minutes service west of Kennedy Road.

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the late evening from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

127 Davenport

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime on Saturday. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will change from every 22 minutes to every 44 minutes. During the early evening from Monday to Friday, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 40 minutes. On Saturdays, the service will change from every 22 minutes to every 45 minutes.

25 Don Mills

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the afternoons on Sundays and holidays to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes.

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 14 minutes in the morning peak on the 25D (16th Avenue) branch. The 25D and 25 (Steeles) branches will combine to provide a 3 minute, 30 second service between Steeles & Don Mills and Pape Station.

Don Mills Station

  • Bus Bay locations at Don Mills Station will be changed. The 169 HUNTINGWOOD and 224 VICTORIA PARK NORTH routes will move into the bay vacated by the 268 WARDEN NORTH route.

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 12 minutes in the morning peak and to every 15 minutes in the afternoon peak on each of the 502 DOWNTOWNER and 503 KINGSTON RD routes.

113 Danforth

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 12 minutes 45 seconds in the morning peak.

108 Downsview

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 14 minutes, 30 seconds in the morning peak on each of the 108 (Jane & Driftwood) and 108A (Jane & Driftwood via Grandravine) branches. A combined 7 minute, 15 second service will be provided on the common portion of the route between Jane & Driftwood and Downsview Station.

26 Dupont

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the late evening from Monday to Saturday, the daytime on Saturday and Sunday, and the early evening on Sundays and holidays. During the late evening from Monday to Saturday, the service will change from every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes. During the early evening on Sundays and holidays, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 60 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 24 minutes. During the daytime on Sundays and holidays, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

111 East Mall

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 8 minutes 30 seconds in the morning peak and to every 11 minutes in the afternoon peak.

32 Eglinton West

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. On Saturdays, the combined service east of Keele Street will be improved from every 7 minutes to every 6 minutes. On Sundays and holidays, the combined service east of Keele Street will be improved from every 9 minutes to every 7 minutes, 30 seconds.

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 16 minutes, 30 seconds in the morning peak on the 32B (Airport Corporate Center) branch and every 11 minutes on the 32D (Jane and Emmett) branch. The 32 (Renforth) and 32C (Jane & Lawrence) branches will provide a 5 minute, 30 second morning peak service.

15 Evans

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the midday and late evening from Monday to Friday. During the midday, the service will change from every 15 minutes to every 22 minutes, 30 seconds. During the late evening, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 40 minutes.

39 Finch East

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding and to improve service reliability on the route. In the morning peak period, the combined express service west of McCowan Road will be improved from every 3 minutes 30 seconds to every 3 minutes. The combined local service west of Seneca College will change from every 2 minutes, 50 seconds to every 3 minutes. In the afternoon peak
    period, the combined express service west of McCowan Road will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes, 30 seconds.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the late evening on Saturdays. The service will change from every 9 minutes to every 10 minutes.

139 Finch East

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the peak periods from Monday to Friday. During the morning peak period, the service will change from every 6 minutes to every 10 minutes. During the afternoon peak period, the service will change from every 12 minutes to every 14 minutes.

36 Finch West

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period, to reduce crowding. The combined service east of Weston Road will be improved from every 3 minutes, 45 seconds to every 3 minutes, 15 seconds.

Service reliability improvement

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules during the midday from Monday to Friday, in order to operate a more-reliable service. The combined service east of Albion Road will change from every 5 minutes, 30 seconds to 6 minutes.

100 Flemingdon Park

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the midday from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will be improved from every 9 minutes 30 seconds to every 8 minutes. During the morning on Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 9 minutes. During the afternoon on Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 11 minutes 15 seconds to every 9 minutes.

122 Graydon Hall

New service to Roywood Park

  • This route will be extended to Roywood Park during the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday. New service will be provided on Underpass Gate, Roywood Drive, Fenside Drive, and Lynedock Crescent. The service will change from every 13 minutes to every 12 minutes in the morning peak period, from every 20 minutes to every 17 minutes during the midday, and from every 15 minutes to every 13 minutes in the afternoon peak period.

509 Harbourfront

Seasonal service change

Service will return to the spring/fall levels, to match seasonal ridership changes along Harbourfront. Late evening service, seven days a week, will be eliminated for the fall and winter. Service west of Fleet Loop to Exhibition will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. from
Monday-Saturday, instead of the earlier start in the summer

Service will be increased during the afternoon peak period, to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 13 minutes to every 9 minutes. With this change, service will be operated every 9 to 10 minutes in the peak periods, every 10 minutes during the daytime on weekends and holidays, and every 20 minutes during the midday from Monday to Friday and the early evening.

38 Highland Creek

  • Service will be reduced during the early evening on Saturdays. The service will change from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes.

191 Highway 27 Rocket

New Sunday and holiday service

  • New Sunday and holiday daytime service will be operated on the 191 HIGHWAY 27 ROCKET route. Service will operate every 20 minutes in the morning and every 22 minutes in the afternoon. Departure times, routing, and stopping patterns will be the same as on Saturdays.

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules in the early evening from Monday to Friday, in order to operate a more-reliable service. Between approximately 7:20 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 22 minutes.

169 Huntingwood

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

Bus bay location change

  • Bus Bay locations at Don Mills Station will be changed. The 169 HUNTINGWOOD and 224 VICTORIA PARK NORTH routes will move into the bay vacated by the 268 WARDEN NORTH route.

37 Islington

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 30 minutes in the morning peak on the 37D (Highway 7 via Pine Valley) branch. 37D will combine with 37 (Steeles), 37A (Woodbine & Humberwood via Rexdale) branches to provide a 6 minute service on the common portion of the route between Rexdale Boulevard & Islington Avenue and Islington Station. In the afternoon peak, the 37D branch will provide a 36 minute service and the 37A branch will provide a 17 minute service. The combined service between Rexdale & Islington and Islington Station will be provided every 5 minutes, 53 seconds.

110 Islington South

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 22 minutes in the afternoon peak on each of the 110A (Long Branch via Browns Line and Horner) and 110B (Long Branch via Horner and 30th) branches. A combined 11 minute afternoon peak service will be provided on the common portion of the 110A and 110B branches. The 110 (Lake Shore) branch will provide an 11 minute afternoon peak service. All branches combine to provide a 5 minute, 30 second afternoon peak service between Islington & Judson Street and Islington Station.

35 Jane

Service improvement

  • The schedule in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday will be changed to improve service reliability. Trip times will change on all branches of the route. 35A, 35B, 35C, and 35D branches will each provide an 18 minute afternoon rush hour service. The 35E branch will provide a 16 minute, 40 second afternoon rush hour service. The combined service south of Shoreham Drive will change to every 3 minutes, 33 seconds.

40 Junction

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the midday and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will change from every 8 minutes to every 12 minutes. During the afternoon peak period, the service will change from every 7 minutes, 30 seconds to every 10 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, the service will change from every 10 minutes to every 15 minutes. During the daytime on Sundays and holidays, the service will change from every 8 minutes to every 12 minutes.

41 Keele

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period and midday from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the morning peak period, the service will be improved from every 6 minutes 30 seconds to every 6 minutes. During the midday, the service will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 8 minutes, 30 seconds.

107 Keele North

New service to Kirby Road

  • At the request of York Region Transit, the route will be extended from Teston Road to Kirby Road during the peak periods from Monday to Friday. Buses will alternate between the existing 107C (Downsview Station-Teston Rd via Bakersfield) branch and the new 107F (Downsview Station-Kirby Rd via Bakersfield) branch. Service on the new 107F branch will be operated every 33 minutes in the morning peak period, and every 34 minutes in the afternoon peak period. Buses will turn around on a counterclockwise on-street loop using local streets south and east of the Kirby Road/Keele Street intersection.

  • Travel north of Steeles Avenue requires the payment of a valid York Region Transit fare. Operation of this service north of Steeles Avenue is funded by York Region Transit.

Routing details

Northbound: Over the existing routing north on Keele Street, then east on Vista Gate, north, east and north on Ravineview Drive, and west on Kirby Road to Keele Street.

Southbound: From Kirby Road and Keele Street, south on Keele Street to route.

43 Kennedy

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the midday from Monday to Friday. The 43 (Steeles) branch will provide a 24 minute midday service. The 43 and 43B combined service south of Progress Avenue will change from every 10 minutes to every 12 minutes.

12 Kingston Rd

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. The combined service west of Brimley Road will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes.

45 Kipling

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the morning and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, and the late evening seven days a week. During the morning peak period, 45E (Kipling Station-Steeles Express) service will change from every 6 minutes to every 7 minutes. During the afternoon peak period, 45E (Kipling Station-Steeles Express) service will change from every 8 minutes to every 9 minutes. During the late evening, the service will change from every 15 minutes to every 17 minutes.

30 Lambton

Seasonal service ends

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holiday route extension into High Park will end after Labour Day, Monday, September 6, 2004.

47 Lansdowne

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the midday, the combined service south of St. Clair Avenue will be improved from every 9 minutes to every 7 minutes 30 seconds. During the early evening, the combined service south of St. Clair Avenue will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 9 minutes.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the late evenings, seven days a week. The combined service south of St. Clair Avenue will change from every 12 minutes to every 15 minutes.

52 Lawrence West

Service reduction

  • Service on Culford Road, Gulliver Road, Ingram Drive, Sheffield Street, and Benton Road will be changed to operate to Lawrence West Station only, instead of to Lawrence Station.

  • During the peak periods from Monday to Friday the service to this area will be provided by a new 52C LAWRENCE WEST (Lawrence West Station-Culford) branch. Service will continue to operate every 30 minutes during the morning peak period, and in the afternoon will change from every 37 minutes 30 seconds, to every 40 minutes.

  • During the midday from Monday to Friday, service to this area will be provided by a new 59C MAPLE LEAF (Weston Rd-Lawrence West Station) branch. Service will continue to operate every 30 minutes.

51 Leslie

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the early evening from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes.

58 Malton

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 21 minutes in the morning peak and to every 24 minutes in the afternoon peak on the 58B (Westwood) branch. The 58B and 58A (Pearson Airport) branches will combine to provide a 7 minute morning peak and 8 minute afternoon peak service between Pearson Airport and Lawrence West Station.

59 Maple Leaf

Service reduction

  • Service on Culford Road, Gulliver Road, Ingram Drive, Sheffield Street, and Benton Road will be changed to operate to Lawrence West Station only, instead of to Lawrence Station.

  • During the peak periods from Monday to Friday the service to this area will be provided by a new 52C LAWRENCE WEST (Lawrence West Station-Culford) branch. Service will continue to operate every 30 minutes during the morning peak period, and in the afternoon will change from every 37 minutes 30 seconds to every 40 minutes.

  • During the midday from Monday to Friday, service to this area will be provided by a new 59C MAPLE LEAF (Weston Rd-Lawrence West Station) branch. Service will continue to operate every 30 minutes.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period. The service will change from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes.

102 Markham Rd

Schedule change

  • The departure time of the first Monday-Friday southbound trip from Sheppard Avenue will be changed to depart a few minutes earlier, at 5:10 a.m., to provide better connections for customers using this early trip.

129 McCowan North

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 15 minutes in the morning peak on the 129A (Major Mackenzie) branch. The 129A and 129 (Steeles) branches will combine to provide a 5 minute morning peak service on the common portion of the route between Steeles & McCowan and Scarborough Centre Station.

130 Middlefield

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 15 minutes to every 22 minutes. The service during the evening will also be changed, from every 30 minutes to every 22 minutes, so that trip times match the afternoon peak period service.

116 Morningside

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period and midday from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the morning peak period, the service on the 116 (Kennedy Station-Finch) local branch will be improved from every 7 minutes 20 seconds to every 6 minutes 45 seconds, and the service on the 116A/E (Kennedy Station-U of T Scarborough Express/Conlins Rd) branch will be improved from every 24 minutes to every 18 minutes. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will be improved from every 10 minutes 30 seconds to every 9 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes, 15 seconds. During the daytime on Sundays and holidays, the service will be improved from every 11 minutes to every 10 minutes.

Service increase

  • Service on the 116E (Kennedy Station-U of T Scarborough Express) branch will be increased. During the morning peak period, one later eastbound trip will be operated. During the afternoon peak period, four earlier westbound trips will be operated. These additional trips will operate to and from U of T Scarborough only, and will not serve the Conlins Road portion of the 116A (Kennedy Station-Conlins Rd) branch. These service increases will add service at busy student travel times at U of T Scarborough, and at the new Centennial College Ellesmere Campus, at the north-east corner of Ellesmere Road and Morningside Drive, which opens in September 2004.

103 Mt Pleasant North

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Service will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 15 minutes. Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period.

133 Neilson

Revised routing in Morningside Heights

  • The 133C NEILSON (Scarborough Centre Station-Morningside Heights) service will be extended to serve more of the Morningside Heights neighbourhood, as nearby road and housing construction is now advanced enough to permit a larger on-street loop to be served by the buses. New service will be provided on Staines Road, Mantis Road, and Nightstar Road. Service will be removed from Canoe Crescent. There will be no change to service levels or most departure times. Service on the 133C NEILSON branch will continue to operate every 22 minutes in the morning peak period, every 20 minutes in the afternoon peak period, and every 26 minutes in the early evening from Monday to Friday.

  • Over the existing routing north on Neilson Road, east on Nightstar Road, north on Morningside Avenue Extension, north on Neilson Road, east and north on Oasis Boulevard, east on Seasons Drive, south on Staines Road, west on Staines Road (opposite Siskin Terrace), north on Mantis Road, west on Nightstar Road, south on Neilson Road to the existing routing.

131 Nugget

New Saturday, Sunday, and holiday late evening service

  • New Saturday, Sunday, and holiday late evening service will be operated. The service will operate every 22 minutes. Late night trip times will be the same as from Monday to Friday. With this change, the 131 NUGGET route will operate during all periods of the week.

70 O'Connor

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 17 minutes in the morning and afternoon peak periods on each of the 70 (Warden Station) and 70A (Eglinton) branches. 70 and 70A branches will combine to provide an 8 minute, 30 second service between St. Clair & O’Connor and Coxwell Station.

72 Pape

Seasonal service ends

  • Service on the 72B PAPE (Pape Station-Union Station via Commissioners and Cherry) branch will be eliminated, and will revert back to the 72A PAPE (Pape Station-Union Station via Commissioners) service as was operated before May 2004. With this change, buses on the 72 PAPE route will no longer divert south of Commissioners Street to Cherry Beach and the ferry terminal.

  • The seasonal service from Union Station to Cherry Street, serving the Esplanade, Mill Street, the Distillery District, and the Toronto International Ferry Terminal, will continue in September, but service levels and hours of operation will be reduced, to reflect lower non-summer activity levels. Monday-Friday daytime service to the Ferry Terminal will be provided by the 172 CHERRY STREET route, instead of the 72 PAPE route.

  • The 172 CHERRY STREET (Union Station-Cherry Beach) route will operate a limited service during the morning and afternoon from Monday to Friday, scheduled to meet ferry arrivals and departures. Service will operate every 40 minutes. On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the 172 CHERRY STREET route will continue to provide daytime service. Service will operate every 20 minutes.

66 Prince Edward

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 15 minutes in the morning peak and to every 17 minutes in the afternoon peak on each of the 66A (Humber Loop) and 66D (Lake Shore) branches. 66A and 66D branches will combine to provide a 7 minute, 30 second morning peak and 8 minute afternoon peak service, on the common portion of the route, between Prince Edward Drive & Berry Road and Old Mill Station.

134 Progress

New Saturday service to Centennial College

  • New Saturday daytime service will be operated to Centennial College, Progress Campus, on the 134C (Scarborough Centre Station-Centennial College) branch. The new service will operate every 30 minutes. There will be no change to the present 15 minutes service on the 134 (Scarborough Centre Station-Finch) branch.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the morning peak period from Monday to Friday. On the 134B (Scarborough Centre Station-McNicoll) branch, the service will change from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes.

  • Service will be reduced during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday. The service will change from every 11 minutes to every 20 minutes in the morning, and from every 10 minutes to every 20 minutes in the afternoon.

73 Royal York

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period and the late evening from Monday to Friday. In the afternoon peak period, the combined service south of Eglinton Avenue will change from every 7 minutes, 12 seconds to every 7 minutes, 30 seconds. In the late evening, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 22 minutes.

76 Royal York South

Schedule change

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, so that a more-reliable service can be operated. Service on the 76 (Royal York Station-Lake Shore) branch will change from every 8 minutes, 30 seconds to every 9 minutes.

Schedule change

  • One trip currently scheduled to serve Bishop Allen School each weekday afternoon will be changed to depart two minutes later at 2:58 p.m.. The 3:15 p.m. trip will remain unchanged. Two trips currently scheduled to serve The Etobicoke School of the Arts each weekday afternoon will be changed to depart a few minutes later at 3:37 and 3:41 p.m. The 3:52 p.m. trip will remain unchanged.

71 Runnymede

Schedule increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 24 minutes in the morning peak on each of the 71 (St. Clair) and 71B (Industry Street) branches. 71 and 71B branches will combine to provide a 12 minute combined morning peak service, on the common portion of the route, between St. Clair & Runnymede and Runnymede Station.

79 Scarlett Rd

New service on St Clair Avenue

  • Service during the peak periods from Monday to Friday will be changed so that buses alternate, in both directions, via St Clair Avenue on the 79B (Runnymede Station- Lawrence & Jane via St Clair) branch and via Foxwell Street and Pritchard Avenue on the 79 (Runnymede Station-Lawrence & Jane) branch. There will be no change to the combined service along the route, or to most departure times.

86 Scarborough

Seasonal service change

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 6:00 p.m. The last trip on the 86A SCARBOROUGH (Kennedy Station- Toronto Zoo) branch will leave the zoo at 7:06 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Weekend and holiday service to the zoo on the 86 SCARBOROUGH route will be discontinued after Labour Day for the fall and winter.

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the midday from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will be improved from every 10 minutes, 30 seconds to every 9 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes, 15 seconds.

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the late evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. During the late evening on Saturdays, the service will change from every 14 minutes to every 17 minutes. During the late evening on Sundays and holidays, the service will change from every 15 minutes to every 17 minutes. 

190 Scarborough Centre Rocket

New Evening, Saturday, and Sunday service

  • New Monday-Friday early evening and Saturday, Sunday, and holiday daytime service will be operated on the 190 SCARBOROUGH CENTRE ROCKET route. The new service will operate every 15 minutes.

  • Service will be increased during the peak periods from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. During the morning peak period, the service will be improved from every 9 minutes to every 7 minutes, 30 seconds. During the afternoon peak period, the service will be increased from every 10 minutes to every 8 minutes, 30 seconds.

85 Sheppard East

Seasonal service change

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 6:00 p.m. The last trip to Don Mills Station/Sheppard-Yonge Station and to Rouge Hill GO Station will leave the zoo at approximately 7:00 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

Service changes

  • Service between Don Mills Station and Sheppard-Yonge Station will be reduced, because of low ridership. Service east of Don Mills Station will be increased, to reduce crowding.

  • Service between Don Mills Station and Sheppard-Yonge Station at most times of the week will be operated by a separate branch, operating between Don Mills Station and Sheppard-Yonge Station. Customers traveling through Don Mills Station will have to transfer between buses. Service will operate every 15 minutes during both the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday, and every 20 minutes during the midday from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. Buses will display 85 TO SHEPPARD-YONGE STN and 85A TO DON MILLS STN destination signs.

Service increase

  • Service will be increased east of Don Mills Station in the afternoon peak period, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. The combined service between Don Mills Station and Meadowvale Road will be improved from every 5 minutes 30 seconds to every 5 minutes.

84 Sheppard West

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 21 minutes in the morning peak on each of the 84A (Steeles via Arrow Road) and 84D (Steeles via Oakdale) branches. 84A, 84D and 84 (Weston Road) will combine to provide a 5 minute, 15 second service, on the common portion of the route, between Sheppard Avenue & Oakdale Road and Sheppard-Yonge Station.

75 Sherbourne

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning peak period. The service will be improved to every 11 minutes in the morning peak

123 Shorncliffe

New off-peak service via North Queen Street

  • New Monday-Friday midday and early evening, and Saturday, Sunday, and holiday daytime service will be operated on the 123 SHORNCLIFFE route via North Queen Street and The Queensway, on a new 123C (Kipling Station-Long Branch via North Queen) branch. During these times buses on the route will alternate between the new 123C (Kipling Station-Long Branch via North Queen) branch and the existing 123 (Kipling Station-Long Branch via East Mall) branch.

  • During the midday from Monday to Friday, and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, service on each of the 123 and 123C branches will operate every 30 minutes, and will combine to provide a 15 minutes service along most of the route. During the early evening from Monday to Friday, service on each of the 123 and 123C branches will operate every 25 minutes, and will combine to provide a 12 minutes 30 second service along most of the route.

  • There will be no change to service during the peak periods from Monday to Friday, which will continue to be provided on the 123 (Kipling Station-Long Branch via East Mall) and 123A/B
    (Kipling Station-Sherway) branches.

  • Branch names on the 123 SHORNCLIFFE route will be changed, to better describe the routing. They will be:

53 Steeles East

New Sunday and holiday service to Markham Road

  • New Sunday and holiday daytime service will be operated east of Middlefield Road to Markham Road, on the 53B (Finch Station-Markham Rd) branch. Service will operate every 18 minutes during the morning and every 10 minutes during the afternoon. Service
    after 7:00 p.m. will continue to operate to Middlefield Road only.

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period on the local branches, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. The combined local service west of Pharmacy Avenue will be improved from every 5 minutes, 30 seconds to every 5 minutes, 15 seconds.

60 Steeles West

New Monday-Friday midday and Saturday daytime service to Highway 27

  • New Monday-Friday midday and Saturday daytime service will be operated west of Martin Grove Road to Highway 27, on the 60D (Finch Station-Highway 27 local) branch. During the midday from Monday to Friday service to Highway 27 will operate every 12 minutes. On Saturdays, service to Highway 27 will operate every 12 minutes.

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. The combined service east of York University will be improved from every 3 minutes, 37 seconds to every 3 minutes, 22 seconds.

There will be no replacement for the Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service.

  • Travel north of Steeles Avenue requires the payment of a valid York Region Transit fare. Operation of this service north of Steeles Avenue is funded by York Region Transit.

  • Customers who used the 224 VICTORIA PARK NORTH route to travel at off-peak times from Don Mills Station and along Sheppard Avenue should instead use the 85 SHEPPARD EAST, 190 SCARBOROUGH CENTRE ROCKET or 167 PHARMACY NORTH routes.

Service Increase

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on Saturdays to reduce crowding. Between approximately 8:45 and 10:00 a.m., service will be improved to every 10 minutes. In the afternoon, service will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 9 minutes.

224 Victoria Park North

Schedule change

  • All off-peak service on the 224 VICTORIA PARK route will be eliminated, as a result of unacceptable financial performance on this trial service. There will be no change to service during the peak periods, which will continue to operate unchanged. Monday-Friday midday and evening service north of Steeles Avenue will be replaced by the 24D VICTORIA PARK (Victoria Park Station- Major Mackenzie) branch, over the same routing north of Steeles Avenue as the 224D VICTORIA PARK NORTH route. There will be no replacement for the Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service.

Route change

  • All service on the 268 WARDEN NORTH route will be eliminated, as a result of unacceptable financial performance on this trial service. Service north of Steeles Avenue will be replaced by the 68B WARDEN (Warden Station- 16th Ave) branch, over the same routing north of Steeles Avenue as the 268 WARDEN NORTH route. Service levels and hours of operation on the 68B WARDEN route will be similar to the 268 WARDEN NORTH route. There will be no change to service levels in Toronto on the 68 WARDEN route. 

  • Travel north of Steeles Avenue requires the payment of a valid York Region Transit fare. Operation of this service north of Steeles Avenue is funded by York Region Transit.

69 Warden South

Service change

  • An additional northbound trip at the beginning of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday which operated on Warden Avenue to Warden Station will be eliminated. This trip is no longer required because of the closure of Centennial College Warden Woods campus.

112 West Mall

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 15 minutes in the morning peak and afternoon peak on each of the 112C (Disoc Road) and 112D (Eglinton and Skymark) branches. 112C and 112D combine to provide a 7 minute, 30 second service, on the common portion of the route, between Eglinton Avenue & Renforth and Kipling Station. 

  • The two northbound morning peak 112E express trips to Renforth & Eringate will resume from Kipling Station.

98 Willowdale-Senlac

Service reduction

  • Service will be reduced during the afternoon peak period and the daytime on Saturdays. During the afternoon peak period, the service east of Sheppard- Yonge Station will change from every 30 minutes to every 40 minutes, and the service west of Sheppard-Yonge Station will change from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes. During the daytime on Saturdays the service will change from every 30 minutes to every 60 minutes.

96 Wilson

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The 96A (Carrier Drive via John Garland and Kipling) and 96B (Humberline / Albion) branches will each provide a 20 minute morning peak and a 22 minute afternoon peak service. The 96C (Islington via Albion) branch will provide a 30 morning peak and a 33 minute afternoon peak service. 96A, 96B will provide a combined 10 minute morning peak and 11 minute afternoon peak service, on the common portion of the route, between Humber College Blvd & Humberline Drive and York Mills Station. The 96C (Islington via Albion) branch will provide a 30 minute morning peak and a 33 minute afternoon peak service. The 96E (Humber College Express) branch will provide a 14 minute morning and 21 minute afternoon rush service.

320 Yonge

Extension to entertainment district

  • The route will be changed so that some buses operate to Queen's Park via University Avenue. This change will provide new direct overnight service from the hospitals and Entertainment District to Yonge Street, following part of the routing of the University Subway. Service will be provided about every 30 minutes by a new 320B (Steeles- Queen's Park) branch. There will be no change to the combined service on Yonge Street, north of Front Street. Trips that do not operate to Queen's Park Station will continue to operate to Queens Quay, on the 320 (Steeles-Queens Quay) branch.

Northbound: From Yonge/Steeles Loop, west on Steeles Avenue, south on Yonge Street, west on Front Street, north on University Avenue, north on Queen's Park Circle East.

Southbound: From Queen's Park, south on Queen's Park Circle West, south on University Avenue, east on Front Street, north on Yonge Street, east on Steeles Avenue to the Yonge/Steeles Loop.

321 York Mills

Trip time change

  • The departure time of a 321 YORK MILLS southbound trip from Finch Avenue, seven days a week, will be changed to depart seven minutes earlier at 4:41 a.m. This change will provide a timed transfer with the southbound 320 YONGE bus at 5:30 a.m. at Yonge Street and York Mills Road, and will enable customers to transfer to the first westbound/northbound 165 WESTON RD NORTH bus departing from York Mills Station, also at 5:30 a.m.

95 York Mills

Service increase

  • Service will be increased during the midday from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, as part of the TTC's Ridership Growth Strategy. During the midday from Monday to Friday, the combined service west of Military Trail will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 8 minutes, 30 seconds. During the daytime on Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes.

106 York University

Service increase

  • Summer service reductions will end, and service will be increased during the morning and afternoon peak period. The service will be improved to every 9 minutes, 30 seconds in the morning peak and to every 11 minutes, 30 seconds in the afternoon peak.

196 York University Rocket

Route change

  • The routing will be changed, at all times, so that buses can operate over the fastest possible routing between Downsview Station and York University. Buses will be scheduled to operate via Sheppard Avenue, Tuscan Gate, St. Regis Crescent, and Keele Street, instead of via Dufferin Street and Finch Avenue. All buses on the route will stop at Keele Street and Finch Avenue, and the bus stop at Finch Avenue and Dufferin Street will no longer be served by buses on this route. There will be no change to service levels.

Westbound/Northbound (before 12:00 noon): Buses stop at Sheppard-Yonge Station, Bathurst Street, Downsview Station, Keele/Finch, and York Lanes only.

  • A regular holiday service will be operated on most TTC routes on Monday, September 6 , 2004. This means that routes which operate on Sundays in September will operate at the same levels of service as on Sundays, but service will start earlier in the morning, at about the same time as on Saturdays. Subway starts at 6:00 a.m.
