Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service on the 172 CHERRY STREET route will operate on the 172A (Union Stn-Commissioners) branch. Service will operate every 15 minutes on Saturdays, and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays.

Also, the Cherry Street bridge will undergo repairs. During the construction, 72 PAPE and 172 CHERRY STREET buses will divert both ways via Lake Shore Boulevard, Don Roadway, Villiers Street, Cherry Street and Commissioners Street.

On the Labour Day Holiday weekend, TTC service will be provided, as follows:

On the Thanksgiving weekend, TTC service will be provided, as follows:
