6 Bay

New accessible and bike rack service - Service change effective September 6

  • New accessible service and new bike rack service will be operated on this route, using low-floor buses.

11 Bayview and  28 Davisville

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. Service on each of the  11 BAYVIEW (Davisville Station-Steeles) and 28 DAVISVILLE (Davisville Station-Bayview) routes will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 13 minutes, and the combined service on Davisville Avenue will be improved from every 7 minutes 30 seconds to every 6 minutes 30 seconds.

17 Birchmount

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 7 minutes to every 6 minutes 30 seconds.

24 Victoria Park

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased during the daytime on Sundays and holidays to reduce crowding. In the morning on Sunday and holiday, the service will be improved from every 16 minutes to every 12 minutes. In the morning, the service will be improved from every 10 minutes 30 seconds to every 7 minutes.

26 Dupont

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • During the peak periods from Monday to Friday, service will be increased to reduce crowding, and additional time will be added to the schedules to improve the reliability of the service. The service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 13 minutes in the morning peak period and from every 15 minutes to every 14 minutes in the afternoon peak period.

29 Dufferin

Route change - Service change effective September 7

  • Service on the 29D DUFFERIN (Wilson Station-Exhibition/Princes’ Gates) branch will operate during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday, during the daytime and early evening on Saturdays, and during the daytime on Sundays and holidays.

  • Service on this branch will no longer operate during the midday and evenings from Monday to Friday, during the late evenings on Saturdays, or during the evenings on Sundays and holidays. At these times service will operate on the 29 DUFFERIN (Wilson Station-Exhibition/Dufferin Gates) branch.

34 Eglinton East

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period and early evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. In the afternoon peak period the service between Eglinton Station and Kennedy Station will be improved from every 5 minutes to every 4 minutes 38 seconds. In the early evening, two additional eastbound trips will be operated from Eglinton Station to Kennedy Station between approximately 7:20 p.m. and 7:40 p.m.

42 Cummer

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased in the mornings on Sundays and holidays to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 20 minutes.

44 Kipling South

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period and early evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. In the morning peak period, the service will be improved from every 4 minutes 30 seconds to every 4 minutes. In the early evening, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes. 

45 Kipling

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Local service will be increased in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. Service on each of the 45 (Kipling Station-Steeles) and 45A (Kipling Station-Carlingview) local branches will be improved from every 13 minutes 20 seconds to every 12 minutes. Combined local service south of Belfield Road will be improved from every 6 minutes 40 seconds to every 6 minutes.

49 Bloor West

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Monday-Friday eastbound trip times from Markland Wood and Bloor Street will be adjusted between 3:00 and 4:00 p.m., to better match school dismissal times at Silverthorne Collegiate.

  • Eastbound buses will depart at 3:07, 3:15, 3:22, 3:37, and 3:52 p.m.

52 Lawrence West

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. During the midday the service will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes. During the early evening, one additional westbound trip will be operated from Lawrence Station, departing at approximately 7:44 p.m. and operating to Jane Street.

53 Steeles East

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased during the mornings and evenings on Saturdays, and during the evenings on Sundays and holidays, to reduce crowding.

  • During the mornings on Saturdays the combined service west of Markham Road will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 9 minutes.

  • During the early evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the service will be improved from every 16 minutes to every 12 minutes.

  • During the late evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the service will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 16 minutes.

54 Lawrence East

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the late evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. Two additional eastbound trips will be operated from Eglinton Station, departing at approximately 10:20 p.m. and 10:50 p.m. on the 54 (Eglinton Station-Starspray) branch.

58 Malton

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the midday, afternoon peak period, early evening, and late evening, Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding.

  • In the midday, the combined service east of Pearson Airport will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 7 minutes. The service west of Pearson Airport will change from every 16 minutes to every 14 minutes.

  • In the afternoon peak period, the combined service east of Pearson Airport will be improved from every 6 minutes 20 seconds to every 6 minutes. The service west of Pearson Airport will change from every 19 minutes to every 18 minutes.

  • In the early evening, an additional westbound trip to Jane Street will be operated from Lawrence West Station, departing at 7:22 p.m. In the late evening, an additional eastbound trip will be operated from Westwood Mall, departing at 10:25 p.m.

60 Steeles West

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the evenings from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding.

  • One additional westbound trip will be operated on the 60C (Finch Station-York University) branch, departing Finch Station at approximately 7:00 p.m.

  • In the late evening, the service on each of the 60B (Finch Station-Martin Grove) and 60C (Finch Station-York University) branches will be improved from every 24 minutes to every 20 minutes. The combined service east of York University will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes.

71 Runnymede

Service reliability improvement - Service change effective September 5

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules from Monday to Friday, to improve service reliability.

  • During the morning peak period and the midday there will be no change to service levels, but specific trip times will change.

  • During the afternoon peak period and the early evening the service on each of the 71 (Runnymede Station-St Clair) and 71B (Runnymede Station-Industry St) branches will change from every 20 minutes to every 22 minutes. The combined service between St Clair Avenue and Runnymede Station will change from every 10 minutes to every 11 minutes.

72 Pape

Seasonal service change - Service change effective September 5

  • Service on the 72B (Pape Station-Union Station via Cherry Beach) branch will end for the season during the midday and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday and during the evenings on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. Seasonal service on the 72B (Pape Station-Union Stn via Cherry Beach) branch will continue during the evenings from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, until mid-October.

76 Royal York South

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased on the 76 (Royal York Station-Lake Shore) branch in the morning and afternoon peak periods, from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. In the morning peak period, the service will be improved change from every 5 minutes to every 4 minutes 30 seconds. In the afternoon peak period, the service will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes 30 seconds.

77 Swansea

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased during the early evening on Saturdays. The service will be improved from every 21 minutes to every 20 minutes.

79 Scarlett Rd

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the midday from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. One additional southbound and one additional northbound trip will be added, between approximately 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.

84 Sheppard West

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, and in the afternoon on Saturdays, to reduce crowding.

  • In the afternoon peak period, the service on each of the 84A (Sheppard-Yonge Station–Steeles & Arrow Rd) and 84D (Sheppard-Yonge Station–Steeles via Oakdale) branches will be improved from every 28 minutes to every 25 minutes. Service on the 84 (Sheppard-Yonge Station–Weston Rd) branch will be improved from every 14 minutes to every 12 minutes 30 seconds. The combined service east of Oakdale Road will be improved from every 7 minutes to every 6 minutes 15 seconds.

  • Between approximately 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., three additional round trips will be added, on the 84 (Sheppard-Yonge Station–Weston Rd) branch.

  • In the afternoon on Saturdays the service will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 7 minutes.

85 Sheppard East

Seasonal service change - Later service from Toronto Zoo ends - Service change effective September 11

  • The last trip time from the Toronto Zoo on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 6:00 p.m. The last trips to Don Mills Station, Sheppard-Yonge Station, and Rouge Hill GO Station will leave the zoo at approximately 7:00 p.m. This change will begin on Saturday, September 11, 2010.  

86 Scarborough

Seasonal service change - Later service from Toronto Zoo ends - Service change effective September 7

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service to the Toronto Zoo will be discontinued after Labour Day, Monday, September 6, 2010, and the last trip time from the Toronto Zoo from Monday to Friday will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 6:00 p.m. The last trip on the 86A SCARBOROUGH (Kennedy Station-Toronto Zoo) branch will leave the zoo at approximately 7:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding.

  • One additional eastbound trip will be operated on the 86D (Kennedy Station-Beechgrove via Lawrence) branch, departing Kennedy Station at 9:20 a.m. One additional round trip will be operated on the 86 (Kennedy Station-Sheppard) branch, departing Kennedy Station at 6:39 p.m.

87 Cosburn

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased at the end of the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. An additional westbound trip will depart from Main Street Station at 9:22 a.m.

91 Woodbine

Service reliability improvement - Service change effective September 7

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules during the morning and afternoon peak periods and early evening from Monday to Friday, to improve the reliability of the service.

  • In the morning peak period, the service on each of the 91 (Woodbine Station-Lawrence) and 91F (Woodbine Station-York Mills via Railside) branches will change from every 20 minutes to every 18 minutes. The service on the 91A (Woodbine Station-Parkview Hills) branch will change from every 25 minutes to every 30 minutes. The combined service south of St Clair Avenue on the common section will change from every 7 minutes 9 seconds to every 6 minutes 56 seconds.

  • In the afternoon peak period, the service on each of the 91 (Woodbine Station-Lawrence) and 91F (Woodbine Station-York Mills via Railside) branches will change from every 25 minutes to every 24 minutes, and the service on the 91A (Woodbine Station-Parkview Hills) branch will change from every 25 minutes to every 30 minutes. The combined service south of St Clair Avenue will change from every 8 minutes 20 seconds to every 8 minutes 35 seconds.

  • In the early evening, the service on the 91A (Woodbine Station-Parkview Hills) branch will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes, and the service on the 91C (Woodbine Station-York Mills) branch will change from every 20 minutes to every 24 minutes. The combined service south of St Clair Avenue will change from every 10 minutes to every 13 minutes 20 seconds.

94 Wellesley

Service increase - Service change effective September 12

  • Service will be increased in the daytime on Sundays to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 18 minutes to every 13 minutes 30 seconds.

100 Flemingdon Park

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the morning and afternoon peak periods, the midday, and the evenings from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding.

  • In the morning peak period, the combined service south of Eglinton Avenue will be improved from every 4 minutes to every 3 minutes 30 seconds. Service west of Don Mills Road on the 100 (Broadview Station-Eglinton Station) branch will change from every 16 minutes to every 14 minutes. In the afternoon peak period, the combined service south of Eglinton Avenue will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes 30 seconds. Service west of Don Mills Road on the 100 (Broadview Station-Eglinton Station) branch will change from every 16 minutes to every 16 minutes 30 seconds.

  • In the midday an additional eastbound trip will be operated from Eglinton Station, departing at approximately 9:38 a.m.

  • In the early evening, the service will be improved from every 9 minutes to every 7 minutes 30 seconds.

  • In the late evening, an additional northbound/westbound trip will be operated from Broadview Station, departing at approximately 10:39 p.m.

102 Markham Rd

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased in the daytime on Sundays and holidays to reduce crowding. In the morning, the service on the 102 (Warden Station-McNicoll) branch will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 14 minutes, and the service on the 102D (Warden Station-Mount Joy GO Station) branch will change from every 60 minutes to every 56 minutes.

  • In the afternoon, the service on the 102 (Warden Station-McNicoll) branch will change from every 15 minutes to every 11 minutes, and the service on the 102D (Warden Station-Mount Joy GO Station) branch will change from every 60 minutes to every 55 minutes.

Schedule change - Service change effective September 5

  • Changes will be made to trips on the 102A (Warden Station-Centennial College) and 102D (Warden Station-Mount Joy GO Station) branches, during the peak periods from Monday to Friday.

  • Four new southbound trips will depart from Centennial College on the 102A (Warden Station-Centennial College) branch between approximately 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.

  • Nine trips on the 102D (Warden Station-Mount Joy GO Station) branch that previously operated over only part of the route will now start earlier or end later.

106 York University

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased in the midday from Monday to Friday, and in the afternoon on the weekend to reduce crowding.

  • In the midday from Monday to Friday, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

  • In the afternoon on Saturday, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

  • In the afternoon on Sunday and holiday, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

109 Ranee

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased at the end of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. Two additional northbound trips will be operated, departing from Eglinton West Station at 6:58 p.m. and 7:23 p.m.

165 Weston Rd North

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. The combined service south of Steeles Avenue will be improved from every 7 minutes to every 6 minutes.

168 Symington

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the afternoon peak period, Monday to Fridays, to reduce crowding. During the afternoon peak period the service will be improved from every 7 minutes 20 seconds to every 6 minutes 20 seconds. Between approximately 6:40 and 7:10 p.m., northbound service from Dundas West Station will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 6 minutes 20 seconds.

190 Scarborough Centre Rocket

Service increase - Service change effective September 5

  • Service will be increased during the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, the daytime and early evening on Saturdays, and the afternoon on Sundays and holidays, to reduce crowding.

  • During the midday from Monday to Friday the service will be improved from every 11 minutes to every 9 minutes. During the early evening from Monday to Friday the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 9 minutes.

  • On Saturdays, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes in the morning, from every 12 minutes to every 8 minutes in the afternoon, and from every 15 minutes to every 9 minutes in the early evenings.

  • During the afternoon on Sundays and holidays, the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

196 York University Rocket

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the midday from Monday to Friday, and in the afternoon on Saturdays, to reduce crowding. In the midday from Monday to Friday the service will be improved from every 2 minutes 15 seconds to every 2 minutes. In the afternoon on Saturdays the service will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

Fare change - Service change effective September 7

  • By agreement between the TTC and YRT/VIVA, TTC customers with a valid pass or transfer can now ride buses on the VIVA Orange route in either direction between Downsview Station and York University. There will be no changes to service levels on VIVA or TTC routes as a result of this trial agreement.

509 Harbourfront

Service increase - Service change effective September 7

  • Service will be increased in the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday, to reduce crowding. In the morning peak, the service will be improved from every 8 minutes to every 6 minutes.
