End of track reconstruction

The track reconstruction project on Queen Street between Shaw
Street and Fennings Street (one block east of Dovercourt Road) will end. The
additional round-trip time and streetcars which were added to the route for
construction will be removed, and all service will operate over the usual
route on Queen Street.

Recovery time will be added at busy times of the week, in
order to improve the reliability of service. At most times of the week, the
service levels will not change. During the afternoon on Saturdays and
Sundays the service will be improved, from every 7 minutes to every 6
minutes 45 seconds on Saturdays, and from every 9 minutes to every 8 minutes
45 seconds on Sundays and holidays.

These routes will be changed so that all buses which now turn
around at Bicknell Loop, on Rogers Road just west of Keele Street, will be
changed to instead operate to Avon Loop, on Weston Road at Rogers Road. There

Symington (Dundas West Station-Weston Rd) and 161A Rogers Rd. (Ossington
Station-Weston Rd). With this change, no service will be operated through
Bicknell Loop.

times of the week, when buses will continue to operate to Humberline on the 73 Royal
York (Royal York Station-Humberline via Albion Rd) branch.

the loop), then south, west, and north (clockwise) on Claireport Crescent to
Albion Road.
