32 Eglinton West

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the midday and late evening from Monday to Friday, as part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy. During the midday, the combined service between Keele Street and Eglinton West Station will be improved from every 5 minutes 36 seconds to every 4 minutes 10 seconds. During the late evening, the combined headway between Keele Street and Eglinton Station will be improved from every 10 minutes to every 9 minutes.

509 Harbourfront

End of seasonal service

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service will return to spring/fall levels, operating every 13 to 24 minutes, to match seasonal ridership reductions along Harbourfront. Sunday early evening service will be eliminated for the fall and winter, and will resume in March 2005.

52 Lawrence West

Service increase

  • A new later trip will be added from Monday to Friday. This trip will provide later service on this busy route.

86 Scarborough

Seasonal service change - Effective Tuesday, October 12, 2004

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, October 12, 2004. The last trips on the 86A SCARBOROUGH (Kennedy Station-Toronto Zoo) branch will leave the zoo at approximately 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

85 Sheppard East

Service increase

  • Service will be increased east of Don Mills Station in the morning peak period, as part of the TTC’s Growth Strategy. The combined service between Don Mills Station and Meadowvale Road will be improved from every 5 minutes to every 4 minutes 37 seconds.

Seasonal service change - Effective Tuesday, October 12, 2004

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, October 12, 2004. The last trips to Don Mills Station/Sheppard-Yonge Station and to Rouge Hill GO Station will leave the zoo at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

53 Steeles East

Service increase

  • Service will be increased in the morning peak period on the 53E (Finch Station-Markham Rd) express branch, as part of the TTC’s Ridership Growth Strategy. The service will be improved from every 6 minutes to every 5 minutes 30 seconds.

  • Service will be increased in the early morning on Saturday, to reduce crowding. Before 9:00 a.m., the service will be improved from every 20 minutes to every 18 minutes.

94 Wellesley

Additional service ends

  • The additional service which was added during track construction on College Street will end. Service between Ossington Station and Wellesley Station will operate every 11 minutes during the morning peak period and every 16 minutes during the afternoon peak period; there will be no change to peak period service between Wellesley Station and Castle Frank Station. Evening service will operate every 11 to 16 minutes. Saturday daytime service will operate every 12 minutes and Sunday daytime service will operate every 18 minutes.

165 Weston Rd North

Seasonal service change ends

  • The seasonal service to Canada's Wonderland on the 165A WESTON RD NORTH (York Mills Station-Wonderland) route will end. The last day of service will be Sunday, October 10, 2004.

98 Willowdale-Senlac

Schedule change

  • Trip times on Saturdays will be adjusted to be the same as trips times at off-peak times from Sunday to Friday.

98 via Senlac
Buses depart Sheppard-Yonge Station for Peckham (Steeles) via Senlac at 45 minutes past the hour, from 5:45 a.m. to 6:45 a.m.
Buses depart Peckham (Steeles) for Sheppard-Yonge Station via Senlac on the hour, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

92 Woodbine South

Routing change

  • The 92 WOODBINE SOUTH route will be extended to Lake Shore Boulevard at all times that the route operates, providing a new convenient bus service for residents south of Queen Street. Buses will operate between Woodbine Station and a new off-street bus loop at the south-east corner of the Lake Shore Boulevard/Northern Dancer Boulevard/Ashbridge's Bay Park parking lot intersection, once construction of the new loop is complete, later in 2004. Until the loop is ready, all buses on the route will temporarily operate via south on Woodbine Avenue, west on Queen Street, west on Eastern Avenue, south on Coxwell Avenue, east on Lake Shore Boulevard and north on Woodbine Avenue.

  • Service will be removed from Rainsford Road and Columbine Avenue. Once the new bus loop opens, service on the 92 WOODBINE SOUTH route will be removed from Queen Street, Eastern Avenue, and Coxwell Avenue.

  • During the morning peak period, the service will change from every 8 minutes to every 10 minutes. During the afternoon peak period, the service will remain every 10 minutes. During the midday from Monday to Friday and the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the service will remain every 15 minutes. During the evening from Monday to Friday, the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 30 minutes. During the evening on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, the service will remain every 30 minutes.

Routing details - once the new bus loop is complete:
Southbound: From Woodbine Station, west on Strathmore Boulevard, south on Woodbine Avenue, west on Lake Shore Boulevard, south into Ashbridge's Bay Loop.

Northbound: From Ashbridge's Bay Loop, east on Lake Shore Boulevard, north on Woodbine Avenue to Woodbine Station.
