7 Bathurst

Temporary routing change during streetcar track reconstruction - Effective October 17 to November 18, 2005

  • Buses on the 7A BATHURST (Wilson Station-St Clair West Station) branch will be temporarily changed to operate to and from Bathurst Station, instead of St Clair West Station. This temporary change will be made from October 17 to November 18, 2005. There will be no change to service levels, but specific trip times at individual bus stops will change.

126 Christie

Temporary service during track reconstruction - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005 to November 18, 2005

  • Temporary changes will be made to service levels during the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday. During the morning and afternoon peak periods, service will be changed from every 15 minutes to every 16 minutes. During the midday from Monday to Friday, service will be changed from every 30 minutes to every 24 minutes.

  • During the early and late evenings Monday to Friday and all day on Saturday and Sunday, buses will be extended from St. Clair West Station to St. Clair Station.

42 Cummer

Midday service eliminated east of Kennedy Road - After Friday October 14, 2005

  • Monday-Friday midday service east of Kennedy Road on the 42A CUMMER (Finch Station-Middlefield) branch will be eliminated, because of poor financial performance. All service during the midday will operate on the 42B CUMMER (Finch Station-Kennedy) branch. There will be no change to service levels or trip times west of Kennedy Road. 143 Downtown / Beach Express

Westbound routing improved - Effective Monday, October 17, 2005

  • The 143 DOWNTOWN/BEACH EXPRESS route will be changed to operate westbound via Richmond Street instead of via Eastern Avenue. Service will no longer be provided on Eastern Avenue and Sherbourne Street. There will be no change to service levels or trip times.

36 Finch West

Revised routing at Milvan Drive - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • The 36D FINCH WEST (Finch Station-Weston Road and Milvan) branch will be changed to operate directly from Milvan Drive onto Finch Avenue. All 36D service will be removed from Rumike Road, Lindy Lou Road, and Jayzel Drive. Service will continue to be provided on these streets during the
    late evenings on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays by the 165 Weston Rd North route. See PDF for Routing Details.

Temporary schedule - Flood damage

  • A new temporary schedule will be operated, as a result of the diversion required because of flood damage to Finch Avenue, just west of Black Creek. All buses will continue to divert, in both directions, via Sentinel Road, Grandravine Drive, and Driftwood Avenue. The morning peak period 36C (Finch Station-Jane) branch will be shortened to operate to Keele Street only. Service will change slightly during the afternoon peak period, from every 3 minutes 15 seconds to every 3 minutes 30 seconds. There will be no change in service levels during all other time periods. 33 Forest Hill

Revised routing on Old Forest Hill Road - Effective Monday, October 17, 2005

  • The 33 FOREST HILL route will be changed so that buses turn around at the north end of the route using Old Forest Hill Road, instead of Elderwood Drive and part of Vesta Drive. Service will be removed from Elderwood Drive and the portion of Vesta Drive south of Old Forest Hill Road. This revised routing will operate for a trial period of at least six months. 122 Graydon Hall and 95 York Mills

New walking transfer permitted - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • A new walking transfer is now permitted, between the 95 YORK MILLS route at York Mills Road and Fenside Drive, and the 122 GRAYDON HALL route at Fenside Drive and Lynedock Crescent.

509 Harbourfront

End of seasonal service - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service will return to spring/fall levels, to match seasonal ridership changes along Harbourfront. Sunday early evening service will be eliminated for the fall and winter, and will resume in March 2006. Service will be operated every 13 to 24 minutes. See PDF for trip times.

191 Highway 27 Rocket

Revised routing at Humber College Boulevard - Effective Monday, October 17, 2005

  • The 191 HIGHWAY 27 ROCKET route will be changed in the peak periods from Monday to Friday, to operate via Humber College Boulevard, west of Highway 27 in both directions. With this change, buses will follow the same routing at Humber College Boulevard in both directions at all times of the day. There will be no change to service levels.

  • Service will no longer be provided by the 191 HIGHWAY 27 ROCKET route on Humber College Boulevard, east of Highway 27, or on John Garland Boulevard. Service will continue to be provided on these streets by 96 WILSON buses. See PDF for Routing Details.

38 Highland Creek

New Sunday/holiday service - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • New Sunday and holiday daytime and early evening service will be operated on the 38 HIGHLAND CREEK route. During the daytime, service will be provided every 20 minutes and in the early evening, every 30 minutes. See PDF for first and last trip times.

41 Keele

Revised routing at York University - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • The 41 KEELE route will be changed in the late evening, seven days a week. All service in the late evening will follow the 41 (Keele Station-York University and Steeles) branch routing, north on Keele Street and west on York Boulevard into York University. This will be consistent with the routing of the 41 KEELE route into York University at all other times of the week. The 41C (Keele Station-York University and Steeles via Murray Ross) branch will be removed and service will no longer be provided on Murray Ross Parkway, Sentinel Road, and The Pond Road on the 41 KEELE route. 133 Neilson

Service increase to Morningside Heights - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • Service north of Finch Avenue will be increased at off-peak times. During the midday and early evening from Monday to Friday, during the daytime and early evening on Saturdays, and during the daytime on Sundays and holidays, all buses on the route will operate on the 133 (Scarborough Centre-Morningside Heights) branch. Service will operate every 15 minutes during the midday from Monday to Friday, every 20 minutes during the early evening from Monday to Saturday, and every 12 minutes during the daytime on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

  • Service on the 133B (Scarborough Centre-Finch via Crow Trail and Tapscott) branch will be eliminated during these periods and service on the 133A (Scarborough Centre-Finch) branch will be eliminated entirely. Service on Crow Trail and Baldoon Road will be maintained by a service increase on the 134 Progress route.

134 Progress

New early evening and Sunday/holiday service - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • New service will be operated on the 134 PROGRESS route to Finch Avenue during the early evenings from Monday to Saturday, and during the daytime on Sundays and holidays. During the early evening from Monday to Saturday, service will be provided every 20 minutes. In the daytime on Sundays and holidays, service will be provided every 22 minutes 30 seconds. With this change, the 134A (Scarborough Centre-McLevin) branch will be eliminated, and all buses will run to Finch Avenue on Sundays and holidays.

161 Rogers Rd

Service increase - Effective Monday, October 17, 2005

  • Service will be increased during the early evening from Monday to Friday, between approximately 8:00 and 9:00 p.m., to reduce crowding. Service northbound from Ossington Station will be improved from every 15 minutes to every 12 minutes.

86 Scarborough

Seasonal service change - Effective Tuesday, October 11, 2005

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 4:30 p.m. The last trip on the 86A SCARBOROUGH (Kennedy Station- Toronto Zoo) branch will leave the zoo at 5:32 p.m., from Monday to Friday.

85 Sheppard East

Seasonal service change - Effective Tuesday, October 11, 2005

  • The hours of service to the Toronto Zoo will be changed to match the earlier closing time of the zoo, at 4:30 p.m. The last trips to Don Mills Station/Sheppard-Yonge Station and to Rouge Hill GO Station will leave the zoo at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. 512 St Clair

Temporary service during TTC track construction - Effective Sunday, October 16, 2005

  • All service on the 512 ST CLAIR route will be operated by buses, from October 16 to November 19, 2005. Buses will operate every two to six minutes during the daytime, and every six to ten minutes in the evenings. Buses will operate from St Clair Station to Keele Street, serving St Clair West Station in both directions. Buses will serve the curb-side stops, east of Spadina Road and serve the island stops, west of Spadina Road. Buses on the 512 ST CLAIR route and the 312 ST CLAIR overnight route will operate to the lower level Pleasant Boulevard bus terminal at St. Clair Station.

124 Sunnybrook

Service increase - Effective Monday, October 17, 2005

  • Service will be improved during the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, from every 10 minutes to every 7 minutes 30 seconds.

165 Weston Rd North

Seasonal service change ends - After Sunday, October 9, 2005

  • The seasonal service to Canada's Wonderland on the 165A WESTON RD NORTH (York Mills Station-Wonderland) route will end. The last day of service will be Sunday, October 9, 2005.
