32 Eglinton West

Airport Corporate Centre service eliminated - Service change effective October 12

  • At the request of Mississauga Transit, the 32B EGLINTON WEST (Eglinton Station-Airport Corporate Centre) service will be eliminated.

  • Customers using this service should contact Mississauga Transit for alternate service options.

  • There will be no change to service levels on the remaining 32 EGLINTON WEST service.

36 Finch West

Service increase - Service change effective October 12

  • Two additional trips will be added early in the morning from Monday to Friday. A new westbound trip will be operated from Arrow Road to Humberline Loop, departing at 4:57 a.m. A new eastbound trip will be operated from Humberline Loop, departing at 5:17 a.m.

39 Finch East

Service change - Service change effective October 12

  • The 39 FINCH EAST route will be changed, a new 199 FINCH ROCKET limited-stop express route will be introduced, and the routing of the 139 FINCH-DON MILLS route will be changed. These changes will bring improved express service and more frequent and more reliable local service.

  • Express service on the 39 FINCH EAST route will be largely replaced by a new 199 FINCH ROCKET (Finch Station-Scarborough Centre Station) route, which will operate between Scarborough Centre Station and Finch Station. Buses on this route will stop at Finch Station, Bayview Avenue, Leslie Street, Don Mills Road, Seneca College/Seneca Hill Drive, Victoria Park Avenue, Pharmacy Avenue, Warden Avenue, Birchmount Road, Kennedy Road, Midland Avenue, Brimley Road, McCowan Avenue & Finch Avenue, McCowan Avenue & Sheppard Avenue, and Scarborough Centre Station.

  • Local service on the 39 FINCH EAST route will be increased. Most service on the route will operate on the 39D FINCH EAST (Finch Station-Neilson) local branch. Service will operate every three to seven minutes throughout the day, and every five to ten minutes at other times of the week. The 39G FINCH EAST (Finch Station-Old Finch) local service will operate every 13 to 14 minutes during the peak periods from Monday to Friday.

  • Additional service will be operated every seven to nine minutes on the 39/39F FINCH EAST (Finch Station-Seneca College) branch during the peak periods from Monday to Friday. Eastbound morning and westbound afternoon buses on the 39F FINCH EAST service will operate express, stopping only at Finch Station, Bayview Avenue, Leslie Street, Don Mills Road, and Seneca College. Westbound morning and eastbound afternoon trips will operate local, and serve all stops.

  • The 139 FINCH-DON MILLS route will be changed to operate westbound/southbound via Finch Avenue and Don Mills Road, instead of via Highway 404. Westbound buses will now serve Seneca College.

48 Rathburn

Service reliability improvement - Service change effective October 12

  • Additional time will be added to the schedules during the midday and afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday, to improve the reliability of the service. During the midday the service will change from every 20 minutes to every 22 minutes. During the afternoon peak period the service will change from every 15 minutes to every 16 minutes.

50 Burnhamthorpe

Service increase - Service change effective October 12

  • One additional eastbound trip will be operated at the end of the early evening from Monday to Friday, and one additional round trip will be operated at the end of the afternoon on Saturdays, to reduce crowding.

64 Main

Service increase - Service change effective October 12

  • Two trips at the end of the afternoon peak period from Monday to Friday that ended service northbound on Eastdale Avenue at Goodwood Park Crescent will be changed so that the buses now continue in service southbound to Main Street Station.

Southbound trips depart from Eastdale and Goodwood Park Crescent at approximately 6:28 p.m. and 6:44 p.m.

72 Pape

Seasonal route extension ends - Service change effective October 10

  • All seasonal service on the 72B PAPE (Donlands Station-Union Station via Cherry Beach) branch will end. The last day of service this year will be Saturday, October 9, 2010.

83 Jones

Service increase - Service change effective October 10

  • An earlier northbound trip will be added on Sunday mornings, departing from Commissioners Street at 8:45 a.m. and arriving at Donlands Station at 9:00 a.m.

85 Sheppard East

Seasonal service change - Service change effective October 16

  • The Toronto Zoo will close earlier, at 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, October 12, 2010. The last trips to Don Mills Station/Sheppard-Yonge Station and to Rouge Hill GO Station will leave the zoo at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

86 Scarborough

Seasonal service change - Service change effective October 12

  • The Toronto Zoo will close earlier, at 4:30 p.m., beginning Tuesday, October 12, 2010. The last trip on the 86A SCARBOROUGH (Kennedy Station-Toronto Zoo) branch will be changed to leave the zoo at approximately 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

106 York University

Service increase - Service change effective October 10

  • Service in the evenings on Sundays and holidays will be increased to reduce crowding. The service will be improved from every 30 minutes to every 15 minutes.

112 West Mall

Schedule change - Service change effective October 12

  • Three northbound trips in the late afternoon/early evening from Monday to Friday on the 112C (Kipling Station-Disco Rd) branch will be changed to operate on the 112D (Kipling Station-Skymark) branch.

Schedule change - Service change effective October 12

  • The two first southbound trips from Monday to Friday will start service at Sherway Gardens, instead of at Evans Avenue and Browns Line.

129 McCowan North

Service reduction - Service change effective October 12

  • Service will be reduced slightly during the morning and afternoon peak periods from Monday to Friday.

  • In the morning peak period, the service between Steeles Avenue and Scarborough Centre Station will change from every 4 minutes to every 4 minutes 30 seconds, and the service north of Steeles Avenue will change from every 12 minutes to every 13 minutes 30 seconds.

  • In the afternoon peak period, the service between Steeles Avenue and Scarborough Centre Station will change from every 4 minutes 15 seconds to every 5 minutes, and the service north of Steeles Avenue will change from every 17 minutes to every 15 minutes.

  • The new 199 FINCH ROCKET route will provide new express service on McCowan Avenue, stopping at Finch Avenue, Sheppard Avenue, and Scarborough Centre Station.

139 Finch-Don Mills

Service change - Service change effective October 12

  • In conjunction with the change to the 39 FINCH EAST route and the introduction of the new 199 FINCH ROCKET, the 139 FINCH-DON MILLS route will be changed to operate westbound/southbound via Finch Avenue and Don Mills Road, instead of via Highway 404. Westbound buses will now serve Seneca College.

165 Weston Rd North

Seasonal service ends - Service change effective November 6

  • The seasonal weekend and holiday service on the 165A WESTON RD NORTH (York Mills Station-Canada’s Wonderland) branch will end.

  • The last day of service this year will be Sunday, October 31, 2010.

168 Symington 

Service increase - Service change effective October 16

  • Service will be increased in the early evening on Saturdays, to reduce crowding. Service between approximately 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. will be improved from every 12 minutes to every 10 minutes.

199 Finch Rocket

Service change - Service change effective October 12

The service will operate every four to six minutes during the peak periods and midday from Monday to Friday, and every seven to eight minutes in the early evening from Monday to Friday, and during the daytime on Saturdays.
