Monday-Friday service on the 172 CHERRY STREET route will be eliminated as of Monday, November 22, 2004.

Saturday, Sunday, and holiday service on the 172 CHERRY STREET route will be revised, to operate as far south as Commissioners Street only. Service will operate on a revised 172 CHERRY STREET (Union Station-Commissioners) branch. Service will operate every 15 minutes on Saturdays and every 30 minutes on Sundays and holidays. The Saturday, Sunday, and holiday change will begin on Sunday, December 19, 2004.
