36 Finch West

Temporary service during flood damage repairs - Effective December 17, 2005

  • A new temporary bus service will be operated to serve the section of Finch Avenue, east of Driftwood Avenue that has been isolated by the August 19 flood. Buses will operate east on Finch Avenue, north on Tobermory Drive, west on Potsdam Road, south on Driftwood Avenue, west on Finch Avenue, north on Jane Street, west and south on York Gate Boulevard, and east on Finch Avenue. Buses will display a “36S FINCH WEST / SHORT TURN / TO JANE” destination sign.

  • Frequent service will be operated, from about 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday to Saturday and from about 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Sundays.

191 Highway 27 Rocket

Seasonal hours of service change - Effective Monday, December 19, 2005

  • Several trips on the 191A Highway 27 Rocket (Humber College-Kipling Station) branch will be removed, from December 19 to December 30, 2005, as ridership declines due to a reduction in the number of students travelling to and from Humber College, North Campus. The following trips will be cancelled:

Northbound trips from Kipling Station at 8:50, 9:10, 9:30, 9:50, 10:10, and 10:30 a.m.
Southbound trips from Humber College at 9:29, 9:49, 10:09, and 10:29 a.m.

44 Kipling South

Seasonal service reduction - Effective Monday, December 19, 2005

  • Service will be reduced during the morning and afternoon peak periods, from December 19 to December 30, 2005, as ridership declines due to a reduction in the number of students travelling to and from Humber College, Lakeshore Campus. Service will change from every 6 minutes to every 7 minutes in the morning peak period, and from every 5 minutes to every 8 minutes in the afternoon peak period.

  • Service will be reduced on the 134C (Scarborough Centre Station-Centennial College) branch during the morning peak period, from December 19 to December 30, 2005, as ridership declines due to a reduction in the number of students travelling to Centennial College. Service will change from every 5 minutes to every 8 minutes.
