32 Eglinton West

• Starting Sunday January 2, there will be service Monday through Friday evenings and all day Saturdays and Sundays on the present "limited service" portion of the route west of Weston Rd. to Royal York Rd.

43 Kennedy

• Starting Sunday January 2, there will be service Monday through Saturday evening and all day Sunday on the present "limited service" portion of the route north of Ellesmere to Finch.

51 Leslie

• Starting Sunday January 2, there will be service Monday through Friday evenings and all day Saturdays and Sundays on the present "limited service" portion of the route north of Sheppard to Hillcrest Village (51A).

April 16, 1972

6 BAY

• Starting Sunday April 16, because of the relocation of the Ferry Docks and the new building development in the waterfront area east of Bay Street, the BAY buses will be extended east to Jarvis Street via Queen's Quay, looping north on Freeland, east on Lakeshore and south on Jarvis.  Service will be provided on this portion of the route 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

• Service on the existing loop west of Bay Street via Lakeshore, York and Queen's Quay will be provided 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday only.

99 Yonge Night

• Starting Sunday April 16, buses will loop south of Front Street via south on Yonge Street, west on Lakeshore Blvd. W., north on Bay Street, east on Front Street and north on Yonge Street.

September 1972

• New Sunday service between Eglinton Station and Steeles via Bayview. Former BAYVIEW Sunday service on Finch Avenue replaced by new 36 FINCH  Sunday service.

8B BROADVIEW 

• New extension to Queen Street from Broadview Station via Broadview, O'Connor, Donlands, Danforth and Jones looping via Queen, Berkshire, Eastern, Rushbrooke and Queen, 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday only.

23 DAWES 

• Extended to operate via Ferris, Rexleigh St Clair and Victoria Park 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

"EAST YORK ACRES"

• New extended routing replaced service to and from Woodbine Station (WOODBINE 91D/E). All service now runs from Main Station via Main, Doncaster, Barrington, Secord, Eastdale, Lumsden, Westlake, Cosburn and Haldon to East York Acres. Monday to Friday only. Stops made at intersections upon request.

36 FINCH 

• 36C "Weston Rd" service extended north of Kenhar to loop via Weston Rd, Garyray, Signet and Fenmar 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday only.

• New FINCH Sunday service between Seneca College and Islington, looping via Wardlaw and Barkwin (replaces part of 11B BAYVIEW via Finch Sunday routing).

43B KENNEDY 

• New Mon-Fri rush hour routing from Warden Station over the regular route to Kennedy and Progress, then via Progress to Markham Rd looping via Estate Drive.

86 Scarborough 

• 86 "Highland Creek" service extended east of Lawson Rd via Old Kingston Rd to Meadowvale Rd, looping via White and Meadowvale.  Service will be provided 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

84 SHEPPARD 

• Through Sunday routing extended east of Midland on Sheppard to Neilson Rd.

85 SHEPPARD EAST 

• Extended east of Midland on Sheppard to loop at Neilson Rd.  Service will be provided 18 hours a day, Monday to Saturday only.

96 WILSON

• 96A "Rumike" service will no longer be provided during rush hours Monday-Friday. A new 96D branch running during Monday-Friday rush hours only will provide service to Milvan and Toryork.  Buses will run from Glen Echo Loop over the 96A routing to Weston and Finch, looping via Weston, Toryork, Milvan and Finch in the A.M. rush and via Finch, Milvan, Toryork and Weston in the PM rush.

2 ANGLESEY 

• All Monday-Friday rush hour trips and alternate trips at all other times extended west on Rathburn to a new off-street loop at Mill Road, 19 hours a day, 7 days a week (2A). "Centennial Park" trips will loop via Centennial Park Road, Centennial Park Gate and Renforth (2).

32C EGLINTON WEST 

• A new branch routing from Eglinton Station via Eglinton, Trethewey, Jane, Wright, Pine and Lawrence to Jane & Lawrence, returning to Eglinton Station via Jane, Trethewey and Eglinton. Service will be provided 19 hours a day, 7 days a week. Replaces former TRETHEWEY 83 route.

15 EVANS 

• New route from Islington Station via Islington and Evans to Sherway Gardens. Service will be provided 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

38 HORNER 

• New route from Islington subway Station via Islington, Judson, Horner and Brown's Line to Long Branch Loop. Service will be provided 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

37 ISLINGTON 

• All service on Islington Avenue south of Bloor replaced by new EVANS and HORNER routes. ISLINGTON 37 buses now run from Islington Station north on Islington to Steeles 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Additional Monday-Friday rush hour service turns back at Elmhurst (37A).

35 JANE 

• Route extended north of Lawrence to loop at Steeles, replacing part of the 83 TRETHEWEY route, 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.

3 KINGSWAY 

• Buses to run from Jane Station via Bloor and Dundas to the West Mall looping via West Mall, Bloor and East Mall 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Service on the West Mall and Evans replaced by WEST MALL and EVANS bus routes. The off-street loop at Islington and Evans, previously used by KINGSWAY 3A and ISLINGTON 37 buses will no longer be used.

45 KIPLING 

• Looping at Belfield and Highway 27 changed to via Attwell. McLachlan and Brockport.

80 QUEENSWAY

• Buses now run from Humber Loop via the Queensway to Sherway Gardens only 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Service on Brown's Line replaced by WEST MALL buses and service on 80A "via Horner" replaced by new 38 HORNER route.

83 REXDALE

• A new Monday-Friday rush hours only route on Rexdale Blvd between Precision Rd (off-street loop) and Islington, looping via Islington and Bergamot.

83 TRETHEWEY 

• Route name and number discontinued. Service on Trethewey replaced by new 32C EGLINTON WEST buses and service on Jane Street north of Lawrence replaced by extended JANE 35 route.

87 WEST MALL

• Extended south of Dundas via the West Mall, Evans and Brown's Line to Long Branch loop 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Service on the East Mall replaced by KINGSWAY buses. Evening and weekend service looping at Eringate changed to via Wellsworth, Rangoon and Eringate. Buses will run north of Eringate 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday only via Eringate, Rangoon, Wellesworth, Gentian, Renforth, Carlingview and Disco looping via Brockport, Belfield and Attwell.
