LEASIDE

Service
on the Leaside route will be split at Eglinton and Laird during
Monday-Friday rush-hours. Half the service from Pape Station will run
to Eglinton Station and half the service loop through Wicksteed industrial
area via Eglinton, Brentcliffe and Wicksteed. The change will not
affect the frequency of service on the heavier portion of the route from
Pape Station to Eglinton Avenue.
QUEEN
-
Two-car,
or multiple unit operation on the Queen streetcar line will be discontinued,
and the scheduled rush hour service frequency on the heavy part of the route
between Neville and Sunnyside will be improved to about every 2
minutes. The frequency on the section of the route between Sunnyside
and Humber Loop is currently about every 4 minutes and will remain
unchanged. Evening service after 9 p.m. will be every 6 minutes.

VICTORIA PARK

Starting
Sunday April 17, the 24 VICTORIA PARK "Finch" service will loop at
Finch via Finch, Pharmacy, Chester Le and Morecambe.

Starting
Monday April 18, the northerly loop on the 24B VICTORIA PARK
"Steeles" bus route will be enlarged and buses will run via
Pharmacy and McNicoll Avenues. This will provide service on the only part
of Pharmacy Avenue between Finch and Steeles not presently served by
public transit.

The
north-end looping of the 102 MARKHAM ROAD route will be enlarged and buses
will loop in a clockwise direction via Neilson, Crow Trail and Tapscott.
The existing mid-day looping via Crow Trail and Baldoon will not change.

Initially
rush hour service on the enlarged looping will be every 25 minutes.
