Starting
Monday, February 5, alternate buses on the short turn routing from Weston
Rd. will continue east of Eglinton West Station to Eglinton Station.
During the p.m. rush hour all buses on the short turn route will continue to
run between Weston Rd. and Eglinton West Station.
107
Keele North
-
Starting
Sunday, February 4, the 107 KEELE NORTH bus routing through the St. Regis
Industrial area will be revised. Buses will now run via the regular
route to Sheppard & Tuscan, then via Tuscan, St. Regis Cr. S.,
Bakersfield, St. Regis Cr. N, Ceramic and Lepage and then via Keele to the
CNR Yard.

Starting
Monday, February 5, the KEELE NORTH route will be split to provide new rush
hour service both ways on Chesswood Drive (107A) between Sheppard and
Finch. Every other rush hour KEELE NORTH bus leaving Wilson Station
will run over the regular route to Sheppard & Chesswood and then run via
Chesswood, Finch and north on Keele to the CNR Yard. Initially, the service
on Chesswood Drive will be provided every 24 minutes during Monday-Friday
rush hours only.

MAIN and CARLTON Car

The
Main Street Bridge is being completely refurbished for the first time in its
57 year old history. The bridge will be closed to all vehicular
traffic starting Sunday April 15 and there'll be some inconvenience to
passengers using the CARLTON streetcars and 64 MAIN buses during the four
month reconstruction period.

CARLTON
streetcars will run east on Gerrard then swing south on Coxwell and turn
around at the loop at Coxwell & Queen. A "walking
transfer" will be established between the CARLTON cars on Lower Gerrard
and the MAIN bus at Upper Gerrard.

The
64 MAIN bus will be split into two branches. One branch will run from
Queen & Wineva over the regular route to Gerrard & Main then run
west on Gerrard and north on Coxwell to Coxwell Station, returning over the
same route. Pedestrian access over the bridge will be maintained at
all times and there'll be a "walking transfer" between the 64 MAIN
bus at Main & Gerrard and the subway and surface routes at Main Street
Station.

Another
branch of the 64 MAIN route will provide a short shuttle between Main Street
Station and Eastdale & Lumsden.
LONG
BRANCH and QUEEN Cars

Starting
Sunday, April 15, streetcars on the LONG BRANCH route will be replaced by
buses between Humber Loop and Long Branch Loop while reconstruction work is
carried out on the Mimico Creek Bridge on Lakeshore Rd. During this
period the through late night streetcar service between Neville Park Loop
and Long Branch Loop will be discontinued and QUEEN late night cars will run
westbound to Humber Loop only. Through passengers will have to
transfer at Humber Loop between the QUEEN streetcar and the LONG BRANCH bus.

Monday, June 25 streetcars on this Monday-Friday rush-hour route will run
between Bingham and York only, looping via Church, Wellington, York and
King. Service west of York Street will be discontinued.

Sunday, June 24 there'll be a new Saturday and Sunday service provided on
the route between Woodbine Station and Main Station from 9:30 a.m. and 6:00
p.m.

Co-incident
with the new weekend service, Monday-Friday service will be changed to run
from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. only.

Woodbine South

The
popular summer extension to Donald Summerville Pool and Woodbine Beach will
begin running on Sunday, June 24. Buses will loop south of Queen via Queen,
Eastern, Coxwell, Lakeshore and Woodbine from 9:30 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. every
day, except during rush hours when all buses will turn at Queen Street.
