SCARBOROUGH RAPID TRANSIT LINE RELATED CHANGES

9 BELLAMY 

  • Rerouted to run between Warden Station and Scarborough Centre Station via St. Clair, Kingston Rd, McCowan, Eglinton, Bellamy and Progress, 18 hrs a day Monday to Saturdays only. Service east of Ellesmere & Bellamy via Ellesmere and Neilson to Finch provided by the new 133 NEILSON route.

21 BRIMLEY 

  • Rerouted to run between Kennedy Station and Scarborough Centre Station via Eglinton and Brimley. Service on McCowan north of the Centre provided by new 129 McCOWAN NORTH route. Service on Milner provided by the new 132 MILNER route. No service on Borough Drive. 21C EXPRESS service discontinued.

128 BRIMLEY NORTH 

  • A new route replacing part of the MIDLAND 57A route. Buses run between Scarborough Centre Station and Brimley just south of Steeles via McCowan, Sheppard and Brimley.

43B KENNEDY "Via Progress"

  • Rerouted to run between Kennedy Station and Scarborough Centre Station via Kennedy and Progress 18 hours a day, Monday to Saturday only. Service east of Scarborough Centre Station via Progress, Markham, Sheppard, Washburn and Tapscott provided by new 134 TAPSCOTT route from Scarborough Centre Station. No service on Estate Drive or Borough Drive.

  • Holiday service on the 43B branch will be provided over an extended routing, continuing east of Scarborough Centre on Progress and looping via Estate Drive. 

54 LAWRENCE EAST

  • Eastbound and westbound buses will run into Lawrence East Station to provide a connection with Scarborough RT Line.

16 McCOWAN

  • Buses will run between Warden Station and Scarborough Centre Station via St. Clair, Danforth Rd and McCowan. No service on Borough Drive.

129 McCOWAN NORTH 

  • A new route replacing the north end of the BRIMLEY 21 route. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and McCowan just south of Steeles via McCowan, looping counter clockwise via Alton Towers Circle.

130 MIDDLEFIELD 

  • A new route replacing part of the 85E SHEPPARD EAST route. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and McNicoll and Middlefield via McCowan and Middlefield, rush hours only Monday to Friday. Buses loop via McNicoll, Maybrook and Newmill, counter clockwise in the morning and clockwise in the afternoon.

57 MIDLAND 

  • Buses will continue to run between Kennedy Station and Steeles via Eglinton and Midland and will provided an on-street connection with the Scarborough RT line at Midland Station.

  • Routing between Kennedy Station and Steeles via Eglinton, Midland, Sheppard and Brimley (57A) discontinued. Service on Brimley north of Sheppard provided by new 128 BRIMLEY NORTH route from Scarborough Centre Station.

132 MILNER

  • A new route replacing BRIMLEY 21B service on Milner. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and Morningside via McCowan and Milner looping via Murison, Breckon, Sheppard and Morningside, rush hours, Monday to Friday only.

133 NEILSON 

  • A new route replacing part of the BELLAMY 9 service on Ellesmere and Neilson. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and Finch via McCowan, Ellesmere and Neilson looping via Crow Trail, Baldoon and Finch, 18 hours a day, Monday to Saturday only.

131 NUGGET 

  • A new route providing service into the Malvern area. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and Morningside via McCowan, Nugget, McLevin and Casebridge looping in the cul-de-sac at the end of Casebridge east of Morningside, 12 hours a day, Monday to Friday only.

85E SHEPPARD EAST 

  • Rush hour service on Middlefield discontinued. Service now provided by new MIDDLEFIELD 130 buses from Scarborough Centre Station. No change to 85A service between Sheppard Station and McCowan.

134 TAPSCOTT 

  • A new route replacing KENNEDY 43C service east of Scarborough Centre Station. Buses will run between Scarborough Centre Station and Finch via Progress, Markham Rd, Sheppard, Washburn and Tapscott, looping via Tapscott, Newgate, Finchdene, Finch, Baldoon and Crow Trail. 18 hours a day, Monday to Saturday only.

OTHER SYSTEM CHANGES

5C AVENUE RD

  • Buses will run south of College on University to Gerrard looping via Elm, Elizabeth and Gerrard, 18 hours a day, 7 days a week except during Monday to Friday rush hours.

25B DON MILLS EXPRESS

  • Monday to Friday rush hour express service operating on Pape and Millwood between Pape Station and Overlea discontinued. All buses will service all stops on the route.

104 FAYWOOD

  • Buses will run between Wilson Station and Finch via Faywood and Wilmington looping via Overbrook, Dufferin, Finch and Wilmington 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. Evening and Sunday southbound service on Wilson Heights (104A) discontinued.

36A FINCH WEST

  • A new Monday-Friday rush hour branch to run from Finch Station via Finch and Islington to loop via Wardlaw Crescent, Barkwin and Islington.

65A PARLIAMENT

  • Route extended south of King from Castle Frank via Bloor, Parliament and Front looping via Princess, Esplanade and Berkeley.

60C STEELES WEST

  • A new Monday-Friday branch routing into York University looping via Keele, St. Lawrence, Fraser, Ottawa and Steeles, 12 hours a day Monday to Friday only. Rush hour routing (60A) between Finch Station and Jane discontinued.

98 WILLOWDALE-SENLAC

  • A new route replacing the SENALC 55 and WILLOWDALE 98 routes. Buses will run between Steeles and Yonge and Cactus and Pekham via Steels, Willowdale, Sheppard, Sheppard Station, Sheppard, Senlac, Finch, Grantbrook, Drewry and Cactus looping via Peckham and Goulding. During Monday to Friday rush hours, additional service will be provided between Sheppard Station and Cactus & Peckham via Senlac.

April 1985

5A AVENUE RD. 

  • Starting Monday, April 22, Monday-Friday rush hour short-turn service currently looping at Lonsdale will be extended via Oriole Parkway and Chaplin to Davisville Station.  Morning rush hour service between Davisville Station and Queen's Park will now be provided every 6 minutes.

103 NORTOWN EAST and 61 NORTOWN WEST 

  • Starting Sunday, April 21, the existing 61 NORTOWN route will be split at Eglinton Station into two routes.

  • 103 NORTOWN EAST buses will run from Eglinton Station (Bay #4) via Eglinton and Mt. Pleasant to Doncliffe.

  • 61 NORTOWN EAST buses will run from Eglinton Station (Bay #8) via Eglinton and Avenue Rd. to Roe Loop.

  • Service on both routes will be provided 18 hours a day (Sunday from about 7:30 a.m.), 7 days a week.

123 Shorncliffe 

  • Starting Sunday, May 19, buses will run between Kipling Station and Sherway Gardens, both ways via Dundas, Shorncliffe, North Queen, East Mall and Evans, to provide service on East Mall between Queensway and Evans.  There's no change to trip departure times or levels of service.

25A DON MILLS

  • 25A service will no longer be provided into the Lesmill Industrial Area.  

  • 25A Monday-Friday rush hour buses will now run between Pape Station and Lawrence looping clockwise via Donway West, crossing Lawrence and returning south on Don Mills.

39D FINCH WEST

  • Saturday service between Finch Station and Neilson discontinued. All Saturday buses run between Finch Station and McCowan.  Saturday service into the Malvern area provided by 133 NEILSON and 134 TAPSCOTT buses from Scarborough Centre Station.

119 GRANDRAVINE

  • Monday-Friday service between the rush hours discontinued.  Monday-Friday rush hour buses run every 16 minutes leaving Wilson Station from 6:01 a.m. to 8:25 a.m. and from 3:05 p.m. to 7:05 p.m., and leaving Jane from 5:37 a.m. to 8:49 a.m. and from 3:29 p.m. to 6:58 p.m.

122 GRAYDON HALL

  • A new route from York Mills Station via York Mills, Lesmill, Duncanmill and Graydon Hall to a loop at Fenelon Drive.  Service is provided 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday only, every 12 minutes during rush hours and every 20 minutes during off-peak hours.  Last trips leave York Mills Station at 6:41 p.m. and Fenelon Dr. at 6:17 p.m.

124 SHERWAY

  • Route discontinued.

  • 123 SHORNCLIFFE buses provide service every day between Kipling Station and Sherway Gardens. 2 ANGLESEY buses provide Monday-Friday service to about 7:00 p.m. on West Mall between Dundas and Sherway Gardens.

October 15, 1985

37D ISLINGTON

  • Starting Tuesday, October 15, we're providing a new Monday-Friday and Saturday service to the Highway 27 & Rexdale Blvd. area and the new Woodbine Centre.  Buses will run from Islington Station via Islington, Bergamot and Rexdale Blvd. and will loop west of Highway 27 through the Woodbine Centre. Service will be provided every 13-14 minutes during Monday-Friday rush hours and every 30 minutes in off-peak hours.  Buses will leave Islington Station from 6:08 a.m. (Saturday 8:00 a.m.) to 10:00 p.m. (Saturday 6:30 p.m.).  They'll leave Highway 27 from 6:42 a.m. (Saturday 8:30 a.m.) to 10:30 p.m. (Saturday 7:00 p.m.).
