19 CHURCH 

  • Extended to run between Bloor & Church and Strachan & Fleet via Church, Wellington, Yonge, Front, Bathurst and Fleet, looping via Lake Shore, Strachan and Fleet, 12 hours a day, Monday through Friday only.  Buses will leave Bloor & Church from 5:15 a.m. to 6:05 p.m. and Strachan & Fleet from 5:45 a.m. to 6:35 p.m.

  • Looping via York, Wellington and John discontinued.

20A CLIFFSIDE 

  • Service between Main Street Station and Warden Station via Danforth Ave., Danforth Rd. and Warden discontinued.

  • Service on Warden Avenue between Danforth Rd. and St. Clair will be provided by the new 135 GERRARD route.  Service on Danforth Ave. between Main and Danforth Rd. will be provided by 20 CLIFFSIDE and 113 DANFORTH buses.

42 CUMMER 

  • Improvements to Saturday service from about 11:00 a.m. to 7 p.m.

113 DANFORTH

  • Extended to run between Main Street Station and Kennedy Station via Danforth Ave., Danforth Rd. and Kennedy, 18 hours a day (Sundays from about 8:30 a.m.), 7 days a week.

  • Service into Victoria Park Station via Pharmacy and Denton discontinued.

108 DOWNSVIEW

  • New Monday-Friday evening service between Wilson Station and Jane (Driftwood & Niska) via Allen Rd., Sheppard, Arletta, Grandravine and Driftwoodm looping via Stong, Jane and Driftwood.  Last Monday-Friday trips will now leave Wilson Station at 12:30 a.m. and Jane (Driftwood & Niska) at 1:00 a.m.

34A EGLINTON EAST 

  • Improvements to early evening Monday-Friday service between Kennedy Station and Finch & Morningside.

32D EGLINTON WEST

  • New Monday-Friday mid-day service between Eglinton West Station and the Emmet area via Eglinton, looping via Emmet and Jane.  Buses now leave Eglinton West Station from 6:40 a.m. to 6:41 p.m. and Jane & Emmet from 6:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m.

118A FINCH VIA ALLEN

  • Monday-Friday rush hour buses will run between Wilson Station and Humber College Blvd. only via Allen Rd., Dufferin, Finch, Islington, Albion and Finch, looping via Humber College Blvd., Carrier Dr., and Woodbine Downs. Buses will leave Wilson Station from 6:02 a.m. to 8:50 a.m. and from 2:17 p.m. to 5:40 p.m. and leave Humber College & Carrier from 6:34 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. and from 2:20 p.m. to 6:22 p.m.

  • Service on Finch and Humberline west of Humber College Blvd. will be provided by 96D WILSON buses.

100C, 100D FLEMINGDON PARK

  • A new Monday-Friday 100D rush hour branch will run from Broadview Station via Broadview, O'Conner, Pape, Millwood, Overlea, Gateway and Grenoble, looping via Linkwood, St. Dennis, Deauville and Grenoble.  Buses loop counterclockwise during the morning rush hour and clockwise during the afternoon rush. Buses will leave Broadview Station from 7:00 a.m. to 8:35 a.m. and from 3:46 p.m. to 5:58 p.m. and leave Linkwood & St. Dennis from 7:22 a.m. to 8:57 a.m. and from 4:07 p.m. to 5:43 p.m.

  • Short-turn service between Broadview Station  and Don Mills & Eglinton (Monday-Friday rush hours and Sundays) will now be designated "100C Wynford"

135 GERRARD

  • A new route running between Main Street Station and Warden Station via Main, Gerrard, Clonmore and Warden, 12 hours a day, Monday through Saturday only. The route replaces 20A CLIFFSIDE service on Warden between St. Clair and Danforth Rd., and provides a new service on Gerrard and Clonmore east of Main. Buses will leave Main Street Station from 5:48 a.m. (Saturday 6:00 a.m.) to 6:13 p.m. (Saturday 6:30 p.m.) and leave Warden Station from 6:05 a.m. (Saturday 6:15 a.m.) to 6:31 p.m. (Saturday 6:45 p.m.).

43B KENNEDY

  • Holiday service on Progress between Scarborough Centre Station and Estate Dr. discontinued. 

59 MAPLE LEAF

  • New Saturday service between Lawrence West Station and Weston Rd. & Lawrence via Lawrence, Culford, Maple Leaf, Church and Weston Rd. Buses will leave Lawrence West Station from 6:00 a.m. to . 6:00 p.m. and leave Weston Rd. & Lawrence from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. No Sunday or holiday service on this route.

102A, 102B MARKHAM RD.

  • New Monday-Saturday evening and all day Sunday service between Warden Station and Sheppard & Markham Rd. (102B) via St. Clair, Kingston Rd. and Markham Rd., looping via Milner, Scunthorpe and Sheppard. Buses will leave Warden Station until 12:45 a.m. (Saturdays 1:00 a.m., Sunday 12:55 a.m.) and Sheppard until 1:15 a.m. (Saturdays 1:30 a.m., Sunday 1:25 a.m.).  First trips on Sundays will leave Warden Station at 8:20 a.m. (7:22 a.m. from Birchmount & St. Clair and Sheppard at 7:50 a.m.

  • Additional Monday-Saturday evening 102A "Progress/Centennial College" will leave Warden Station until 1:00 a.m. (Saturdays 12:45 a.m.) and Centennial College until 1:32 a.m. (Saturdays 1:17 a.m.).  No Sunday or holiday service into Centennial College.

134 TAPSCOTT

  • New Sunday and holiday service between Scarborough Centre Station and Finch via Progress, Markham Rd., Washburn Way and Tapscott, looping via Tapscott, Newgale, Finchdene, Finch, Baldoon and Crow Trail. On Sundays, buses will leave Scarborough Centre Station from 9:08 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. and Newgale & Finchdene from 8:45 a.m. to 1:37 a.m.

112A WEST MALL

  • Improvements to early evening Monday-Friday service between Kipling Station and Eglinton.

96D WILSON

  • Monday-Friday rush hour local/express route extended to run between Wilson Station and Humberline & Albion via Wilson, Albion, Elmhurst, Brookmere, Westhumber, Martin Grove, John Garland, Humber College Blvd., Finch and Humberline replacing 118 FINCH VIA ALLEN service on Finch and Humberline west of Humber College Blvd.  Service on Humber College Blvd. to Carrier Dr. will be provided by 96 WILSON and 118A FINCH VIA ALLEN buses. 96D buses will leave Wilson Station from 7:04 a.m. to 9:27 a.m. and from 2:20 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and leave Humberline & Albion from 6:23 a.m. to 10:08 a.m. and from 2:24 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Local/express buses pick-up and unload at all stops both ways between Islington and Humberline & Albion and run express between Islington and Wilson Station making stops at Weston Rd., Jane, Keele, Dubray and Dufferin only.  Some trips on the fringe of the rush hours run local and serve all the stops.

EXTENDED HOURS OF SERVICE ON THE SCARBOROUGH RT

  • The hours of service on the Scarborough RT line will be extended to include Monday-Saturday evenings after 10:00 p.m. and all day Sundays from about 9:00 a.m.  Service during these times will be provided every 6 minutes.  Trains will now leave McCowan Station from 5:48 a.m. (Sunday 9:00 a.m.) to 1:18 a.m. and from Kennedy Station from 6:00 a.m. (Sunday 9:12 a.m.) to 1:35 a.m.

  • Monday-Friday evening service between Dupont & Davenport and Jarvis & Queen's Quay reduced to 20 minutes.

38, 38A HORNER

  • Monday-Friday afternoon rush hour service between Islington Station and Long Branch Loop increased to 8 minutes. Alternate buses provide a 16 minute service on the portions of the route via Horner and Brown's Line and via 30th Street and Lake Shore Blvd.

45 KIPLING

  • Monday-Friday morning local rush hour service between Kipling Station and Steeles increased to 10-11 minutes. 

121 NORSEMAN

  • Monday-Friday route discontinued.

86A, 86C SCARBOROUGH

  • Monday-Friday rush hour service on both the 86A "Metro Zoo" and 86C "Sheppard Local/Express" branches increased to 8-9 minutes.  Sunday service on the 86A branch between Kennedy Station and Metro Zoo increased to 15 minutes from about 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

53A STEELES EAST

  • Monday-Friday afternoon rush hour service between Finch Station and Kennedy increased to 7-8 minutes. 

60 STEELES WEST

  • Sunday service to about 6:15 p.m. increased to 18-19 minutes between Finch Station and Islington.

24B, 24E VICTORIA PARK

  • Monday-Friday 24B late evening service between Victoria Park Station and Steeles increased to 11 minutes.

  • New Monday-Friday 24E rush hour service every 30 minutes between Victoria Park Station and Highway 7 via Victoria Park, Dennison and Woodbine.

96B, 96D, 96E WILSON

  • New Monday-Friday rush hour 96B "Humberline" service from York Mills Station to Albion via Wilson, Albion, Elmhurst, Hinton, Harefield, Elmhurst, Westhumber, Martin Grove, John Garland, Humber College Blvd., Finch and Humberline.  Buses will run every 15 minutes during the morning rush hour and every 16-17 minutes during the afternoon rush hour.

  • 96D "Local/Express" service revised to run between Wilson Station and Humber College (Carrier Drive) every 7-8 minutes during the morning rush hour and every 10-11 minutes during the afternoon rush hour.

  • Monday-Friday afternoon rush hour 96E "Steeles via Clayson" service extended to run between York Mills Station and Steeles & Signet and service increased to every 18-19 minutes.

May 12, 1986

114 KINGSTON RD. EAST - CORONATION DRIVE CLOSURE

  • New sewers are being installed on Coronation Drive between Beechgrove and Manse.  Currently the buses are diverting both ways via Lawrence, Manse and Coronation, looping at the south end of Chemical Ct.  There is no service on Lawrence east of Manse, or on Coronation between Beechgrove and Chemical Ct.

  • As construction progresses west on Coronation, buses will divert both ways via Lawrence, Beechgrove and Coronation, and loop at the south end of either Chemical or Wallsend.  During these two phases there will be no service on Manse.  Construction is expected to be completed by the end of August. 

507 LONG BRANCH and 501 QUEEN - SOUTH KINGSWAY BRIDGE CLOSURE

  • To speed up the reconstruction of the almost 30-year old bridge, buses are replacing streetcar service (the part of 501 QUEEN between Roncesvalles and Humber Loop and all of 507 LONG BRANCH) every night from about 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., from May 11 until the middle of July.  For two weekends, one in each of June and October, buses will also be substituted for streetcars from about 7:00 p.m. Friday night to 5:00 a.m. Monday morning.

  • Buses run from Roncesvalles & Queen via Queensway, Humber Loop and Lake Shore Blvd.  The temporary bus service and 501 QUEEN streetcars connect at Roncesvalles & Queen.

95D YORK MILLS

  • Starting May 12, ALL rush hour "Port Union" buses (95D) will run express/local every 12 minutes both ways between York Mills Station and Port Union.  Buses will leave York Mills Station from 6:19 a.m. to 8:55 a.m. and from 2:50 p.m. to 6:26 p.m. and leave from Port Union from 5:56 a.m. to 8:32 a.m. and from 2:51 p.m. to 5:27 p.m. Buses will pick-up and unload at all stops between Port Union and Victoria Park.  The buses will run express both ways between Victoria Park and York Mills Station, stopping at Sandover, Don Mills and Leslie only.

  • 95B "Port Union" service runs local during off-peak hours until 6:50 p.m. from York Mills Station and 7:24 p.m. from Port Union & Lawrence.

  • 95A "Victoria Park" and 95C "Conlins Rd." buses will continue to provide local service during Monday-Friday rush hours on the portion of the route between York Mills Station and Victoria Park.

30 LAMBTON

  • On summer weekends and holidays starting June 22, from about 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. buses will run south of High Park subway station into High Park via West Road and Colborne Lodge Drive, looping at Colborne Lodge and returning north via Colborne Lodge Drive. Service will be provided every 30 minutes.

88, 88A SOUTH LEASIDE

  • Starting June 22, 88/88A SOUTH LEASIDE buses rerouted both ways via Brentcliffe, Vanderhoof and Leslie, 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, to serve the new Wilket Creek Business Park.  Service on Wicksteed between Brentcliffe and Leslie discontinued.

53B STEELES EAST

  • Starting June 23, 53B STEELES EAST route extended east of Kennedy on Steeles to a new off-street loop at Brimley & Steeles.  Looping via Kelvin Grove, Cannongate, Purcell and Kennedy discontinued.  53B service to Brimley provided Monday-Friday only, leavning Finch Station from 6:52 a.m. to 6:58 p.m. and Brimley 6:09 a.m. to 6:52 p.m. 

  • Service at other times runs between Finch Station and Pharmacy.

TOMMY THOMPSON PARK

  • Summer bus service is again being provided to Tommy Thompson Park at the foot of Leslie Street.  Buses run every hour, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays only, leaving Berkshire (Jones) & Queen from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., southbound from the park gate from 9:55 a.m. to 4:55 p.m. (also 5:40 p.m.), and return from the park from 10:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. (additional trip at 5:50 p.m.).

92 WOODBINE SOUTH 

  • Starting June 22, buses running from Woodbine subway station and loop south of Queen via Queen, Eastern, Coxwell, Lake Shore and Woodbine.  Service is provided every 15 minutes Monday through Friday from about 9:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. and from about 6:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m.  Weekend and holiday service is provided every 15 minutes from about 9:15 a.m. to 9:45 p.m. Buses turn at Queen at other hours.

  • 46A "Steeles" buses rerouted to run from Kipling Station via Kipling Station via Kipling, Rathburn, Lloyd Manor, Princess Margaret and Martin Grove to the new off-street loop on  Steeles west of Martin Grove, 18 hours a day (Sunday from about 9:00 a.m.), 7 days a week.

  • Additional Monday-Friday rush hour service (46B) between Kipling Station and Silverstone.

  • Service on Steeles between Kipling and Martin Grove replaced by the extended 60B STEELES WEST route.

132 MILNER

  • Monday-Friday rush hour routing extended from Murison & Milner both ways via Murison, Breckon and Brenyon Way, looping counterclockwise via Sewells, McLevin, Neilson and Sewells.  Looping via Sheppard and Morningside discontinued.

53A STEELES EAST

  • Starting November 24, STEELES EAST route extended east of Brimley on Steeles to a new off-street loop at McCowan & Steeles, 12 hours a day, Monday-Friday only.   Looping at Brimley & Steeles discontinued. 

  • Service at other times runs between Finch Station and Pharmacy.

60B STEELES WEST

  • Extended west of Kipling to a new off-street loop on Steeles west of Martin Grove, 18 hours a day Monday through Friday, and until 8:00 p.m. on Saturdays.  Replaces the existing 46A MARTIN GROVE service on Steeles between Martin Grove and Kipling.

  • No change to Monday-Friday 60C "York University" service or Saturday late evening and all day Sunday 60 "Islington" service.

95,  95C YORK MILLS

  • Service between York Mills Station and Conlins Rd. & Ellesmere (95C) provided 18 hours a day (Sunday from about 9:00 a.m.), 7 days a week.  During the evening, 7 days a week, alternate buses will continue between York Mills Station and Scarborough College (95).
