Rainsford and Columbine. Yonge-University-Spadina
Subway Starting
Tuesday, September 3, we're discontinuing the short turning of trains
northbound at St. Clair West Station during the afternoon rush hour
period. This will provide more convenient service to customers and
help to improve the reliability of subway service over the entire
line. Approximately 34,000 customers who begin or end their trip north
of St. Clair West Station will benefit from having their service almost
doubled. And by not turning trains and blending them back into service
in the middle of the route it means there's less chance for problems which
could affect the reliability of service over the entire route. At
this time, alternate trains will continue to be short turned at St. Clair
West Station during the morning rush hour.
