Starting February 16, new natural gas lift-equipped buses will provide service on route 7C BATHURST during Monday-Friday middays and evenings, and all day Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

HARBOURFRONT TRACK CONSTRUCTION

From Sunday, March 30 to Sunday, May 4, streetcars will be replaced by buses on the 510 HARBOURFRONT line during track construction at Queens Quay & Spadina. The installation of the new west-to-north streetcar track and overhead is part of the final construction required for the new 510 SPADINA route.

During the construction, 77B SPADINA buses will provide through service between Spadina Station and Union Station via Spadina, Queens Quay and Bay Street looping via Front, Scott, Wellington and Bay. At Union Station, the HARBOURFRONT streetcar platform will be closed and customers must transfer to 77B buses on the west side of Bay Street just south of Front Street. On Queens Quay and Bay Street, buses will operate in the curb lane serving temporary stops at the curb.

Queens Quay (Ferry Docks) Station and the streetcar/bus loop at Queens Quay & Spadina will be closed during the construction.
NEW ACCESSIBLE BUS ROUTES

Starting March 30, 41 KEELE, 79 SCARLETT RD., 98 WILLOWDALE-SENLAC and 161 ROGERS RD. will become accessible routes.

511 BATHURST, 506 CARLTON and 512 ST. CLAIR

Starting May 4, streetcars will be replaced by buses during track replacement on Bathurst Street between Harbord and College and between Dundas and Wolseley (north of Queen). During the construction, which is expected to end by early July, southbound buses will continue to run from Bathurst Station on the Bloor-Danforth subway line, through the construction area, to Exhibition Loop. Northbound buses will be diverted around the construction via Spadina Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week. At other times, northbound buses will operate through the construction area.

The routing of the 310 Bathurst night bus will not be affected.

As a result of the track work, streetcars cannot access the 512/312 St. Clair route and will be replaced by buses until early June.

Track reconstruction in the intersection of College and Bathurst will take place from 9:00 p.m., Friday, May 30, to 5:00 a.m., Monday June 4. 511 buses will be diverted via Harbord, Spadina and Dundas in both directions and the 506 Carlton streetcars will divert around the construction with shuttle buses running on the portion of the route not served by the streetcar.

On summer weekends and holidays from about 10.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. buses will run south of High Park subway station into High Park via West Road and Colborne Lodge Drive, looping at Colborne Lodge and returning north via Colborne Lodge Drive.

Monday-Friday early evening service will be improved to every 10-11 minutes until about 10:00 p.m.

At the request of the Town of Vaughan, a new service is now being provided on the 165A WESTON RD. NORTH route between York Mills and Wilson Stations, and Canada's Wonderland.
YONGE-UNIVERSITY-SPADINA Subway

We have improved both morning and afternoon rush hour service on the Yonge-University-Spadina line by adding two "gap" trains and introducing a "step-back" operation at the Finch and Downsview terminals. The "gap" trains will be located at strategic locations, ready to go into service, so that on the busiest portion of the line, delays and occurrences of overcrowding will be reduced. With the "step-back" operation, the motor person and guard arrive on one train and leave on the next. This means there will always be a crew on the platform ready to take out the next train, reducing the likelihood of delays both entering and leaving the terminals.

329 DUFFERIN and 316 OSSINGTON

Starting Monday a.m., October 13, we are extending these two Blue Night Network routes into Exhibition Place, as shown below. Buses on both routes will continue to run every 30 minutes, every night from about 1:30 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., and trip departure times from Lawrence Station, Eglinton West Station and Exhibition Place will be adjusted. During major events, buses will use Liberty, Fraser and King Street between the two routes and will not enter Exhibition Place.
510 SPADINA

Starting Sunday, October 12, streetcars will be replaced by buses after 10:00 p.m., every day, for six weeks on Bay Street and Queens Quay between Union Station and Spadina Avenue during Bay Street tunnel repairs. Streetcars will continue to provide service on Spadina Avenue between Queens Quay and Spadina Station. Shuttle buses will provide service on Bay Street and Queens Quay between Union Station and the loop at Queens Quay & Spadina.
